About this property

See why everyone loves it here! 1.5 miles to Ark.

Please be sure to use correct occupancy when booking. The Sunset Cottage is a place you can relax and forget about everyday cares. As soon as you step through the front door you’ll be greeted by memories of staying with your grandparents. This place is meant to be your home away from home, not somewhere that is stark and sterile. Our guests consistently comment on how comfy, cozy, and clean the house is and how available we are when needed. Don’t spend another second looking… book here. You’ll love it too.

The house itself covers just over 1,100 square feet and sleeps 7 people. There is a queen sized bed in the master bedroom, 2 twin bunk beds in the spare bedroom, and a queen sized sofa sleeper in the living room. The mostly level yard is perfect for kids to play in or you can relax on the large covered front porch.
You will have full use of the house and yard EXCLUDING the basement, and shed.
Charles and Amy live within 2 miles and are never more than a text or phone call away.

We loved the charm and cleanliness of this well-kept home in a clean and family-friendly neighborhood. We all felt like we were visiting grandma’s house with the neat vintage furniture in the kitchen and the country charm throughout the house. We enjoyed the large trees, green grass and sitting on the front porch drinking our coffee. It was the perfect location for our family trip to the Ark Encounter.

Sunset Cottage was a wonderful experience for us. It is in a quiet neighborhood with a well kept yard large enough for children to enjoy. The location is close to the Ark Encounter and downtown. We had to contact Charles a couple of times, nothing major. But he came by to make sure everything was satisfactory. He is a great host. We highly recommend this cottage!
