Walk to Everything from the 5 Points Carriage House!

The circa 1930’s carriage house has been updated while maintaining its retro-chic vibe. It is clean and well-equipped, sans clutter. The studio-style main floor features kitchen, dining, and living space, with attached laundry. The sofa in the living room pulls out to a queen-sized bed. A spacious, loft-like bedroom and small but efficient en suite bathroom are upstairs. Full-sized appliances in the kitchen and an apartment-sized washer and dryer in the laundry room make it appropriate for any length stay. Local artwork adorns the walls, creating a sense of place.
The detached carriage house is located on the back corner of a residential lot. One off-street parking space is provided for guests and additional parking is available on the street. However, the location enables one to function without a car. The carriage house is steps away from over 15 restaurants! Bus stops are nearby and UGA's main campus is within walking distance.

My wife and I came to Athens for a swing dance training event. This property was in a great location to get to campus quickly while still close to a bunch of restaurants and stores. The unit was clean, with a vintage vibe that Matched the cool neighborhood it’s in.

What a great stay! It's about 2 miles to the stadium from there but it's easy enough to park at Carlton Parking Deck near Stegeman Coliseum and walk to the stadium. You are right in the heart of Five Points. Everything we needed was there, it was super clean and a really cute place. We loved it and would definitely stay again. Thanks so much!

Convenient and Cozy

My husband and I traveled to Athens for a quick visit with our son and daughter-in-law. This cottage was perfect for our needs. So much more comfortable than a hotel room and definitely more charming. The home was clean and comfortable and close to the heart of the Five Points area. The carriage house is really cute and located in a great location. I didn’t know about my Five Points before this trip. It’s a great neighborhood with excellent restaurants within walking distance of the house. You can walk to the stadium, but it’s a solid 30 minute walk. We had an easy time getting Uber’s to and from the house. The owners are really nice and helpful. We will definitely visit again!!

Nice spot in Athens in a nice neighborhood, very convenient to 5-points amenities; very nice on site host. Compact but roomy enough for a couple. Furnishings very adequate, but I would have liked a couch long enough in the TV area to let me stretch out for a nap; and with that, I would give five stars without hesitation. We were fine with giving up that little preference for all the other pluses.
