Definitely worth it

The is in Veleta which is just outside of Tulum it is close to the road that head to the Tulum hotel zone and is about a mile from Avenida Tulum-the main road through Tulum. The roads surrounding it were mostly dirt and that can make for a mess when it rains. I like the place. I would go again. The host, team, and crew are really friendly and incredibly helpful.

The interior of the property was beautiful, plenty of space. The patio/private pool was not the best.....could have used a bit of cleaning. We did not get in the pool at all just due to the lack of cleanliness it presented. The location was impossible for Taxis to find.....I believe that's just due to new roads/construction. Overall a good stay

Thanks for your comments Joel, but pool was cleaned prior to your arrival, it is important to consider that being in the middle of the jungle, tree leaves and sand may always fly in. Glad you liked the Villa overall.

Stay with friends

Overall we had a great stay. We arrived at night and the driver couldn’t find the location, and he expressed concern about the safety of the area. In the end it was fine and the house is very secure with an alarm system and barbed fencing. I would recommend arriving during the day and double checking the address the driver is using to get there, as this happened to us a few times. We needed more basic supplies in the house like towels and toilet paper , and Diego was responsive and helpful.

The property sits just on the outskirts of the town and still manages to give you some sense of being surrounded by nature ideal spot for a getaway and still close to modern conveniences like gas stations grocery stores awould definitely consider a revisit next time I visit Tulum but probably stay a bit longer

The idea for this Villa started as a dream throughout my travels to Bali, and now I am fortunate enough to share my vision with you. After a great day of surfing in Canggu and relaxing near the ocean I became fully aware of all the positive energy amidst my surroundings. My dream was to recreate this wonderful experience and to share it with the world. My journey led me to find this magical and unique jungle called Tulum, and that is when Villa Wayak became my dream come true.
