About the host
Hosted by Debra
Hi, I have lived in Tucson since 1987 in West University neighborhood. It is a very vibrant place, lots of fun and exciting things to do all within walking distance. Besides hosting new and interesting people, I am a glass artist, and a Mom. I love to swim, practice yoga, river rafting, long walks or hikes, and work on new glass pieces when I can. Life is full and fun, especially with my daughter who loves the performing arts. Being a host has allowed me to meet lots of wonderful people, some of them becoming good friends. I am always happy to share my knowledge of Tucson, my favorite places and anything else that will enhance my guests stay in the ol'Pueblo...
Why they chose this property
I have always loved and lived in older homes. The construction is solid, unique, with great detailing that you don't normally find in newer buildings. I love the challenge of renovating places with good bones, preserving the old, and adding something new. This is a great neighborhood, West University, one of the oldest in Tucson!
What makes this property unique
Location and vintage! Hardwood floor from the 1920's, great small space design. Close to so many things you want to explore around downtown Tucson, the heart of the city.
