We really enjoyed our stay. Access to hiking in the Highlands NP and Cheticamp are just a short drive. The place was clean and comfortable. Watching the sunset from the deck was awesome.
Home was very clean and comfortable and kitchen was equipped with everything you would need for a stay. The view is spectacular and we were greeted with sightings of a Seal, whales and a Bald Eagle. We would be happy to return to this beautiful location again.
We had a wonderful stay at the home. Stunning surroundings, great location and all the comforts. Only regret is having planned too many activities and not taking more time to relax at the home and take in the views! Thanks for the stay Michael.
Perfect holiday by the sea. Amazing sunsets the entire stay was just what we wanted and included everything you needed Thanks for sharing your home, Micheal
Our stay was fantastic! The home is beautiful, spacious, and well-equipped, our family of four had plenty of room to relax. The location is perfect, right between Belle Côte and Chéticamp, with incredible cliffside views. Falling asleep to the sound of the ocean and waking up to the water view was absolutely unforgettable. The host was wonderful and very helpful, and check-in was simple and seamless. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
We loved this setting and home. It was clean and new and very comfortable. Highly recommend it. And we thank them for recommending Woodroad restaurant, a very lovely experience.
Our experience was excellent from start to finish. The home was spotless and had everything you would need for your stay. The view was spectacular! Michael was an excellent host and communication throughout our stay was very good. I would highly recommend and would definitely stay again. Location to hiking trails in the park was very good.
What a beautiful spot to watch iconic sunsets. We explored during the day and couldn’t wait to return to this gem and watch the beautiful sky at sunset. We also enjoyed sunrise on the decks. The house is clean and has all the necessities. The beds are comfortable. Michael checked on us and also gave wonderful suggestions for dinner. We would definitely recommend and stay here again.
Our family of 5 had a wonderful time at Michael’s home. The property is beautiful and the home was very clean. The kitchen is well stocked which made cooking in so much easier. Communication with the owner was very easy and they even recommended several activities for us to do while we were in the area. We had a wonderful trip to Cape Breton and this home and Michael made it all the better!
A very clean property. It contained everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Very fun to watch the lobster boats work right in front of the house. Close enough to basic amenities to be convenient and far enough to be quiet and private.
A convenient location for getting to the west side of Cape Breton NP. The house has a gorgeous water view, and is very comfortable! We enjoyed seeing the Milky Way on a clear night, as there is a nice dark sky over the water in the back yard. We hiked in the park, biked a lovely bike trail ( rented at Inverness Adventures), strolled the beach, and enjoyed music at the nearby Doryman Pub. A great vacation! Managers are easy to communicate with.
The home was very clean and the beds were super comfortable! The views of the ocean were second to none as well and being so close to Cheticamp was great for availability of restaurants. I would recommend this property.
The home is immaculate and seems brand new and was very comfortable for my husband and I. Michael was a great host - checking in with us to be sure everything was going well and answering any questions. The best thing was the sunset views every night. We stayed in Baddeck for the second half of our Cape Breton trip and really missed those sunsets! I had low expectations of food options in Cheticamp but was very pleasantly surprised! We really enjoyed Cafe Les Suetes and the L'Abri Cafe and the co-op in Cheticamp had a great selection of all kinds of produce and any grocery item you might need.
