Could not get a better view from the deck - the covered veranda was also a nice touch in the evenings. The house was beautiful and tastefully decorated with all the amenities you could want.
Patrick’s home was simply beautiful! The setting of the house is amazing, by the water’s edge, that is suitable for swimming. The interior of the house is perfect; clean, well equipped, comfortable, roomy, bright and perfect for families. You will not want to leave here……reading a book by the water’s edge at sunset is idyllic!
We had a wonderful stay at the Annex. The property was very well appointed with all that we could possibly need. Patrick was very responsive if we had any issues.
It was peaceful and relaxing with incredible views.
We enjoyed our week!
The Annex is an exceptional property. Located just minutes from Tatamagouche and a short drive to Pictou or New Glasgow. Patrick made sure we had everything we needed and the property manager is amazing.
We had an amazing week at the Annex on Brule Point. It was the perfect location on the water to unwind and relax and take in the beauty of the ocean and surrounding fields. The house was very clean and had all the amenities you would need for a longer stay. The kitchen was well stocked with all the basics. We enjoyed dining in the screened off porch and taking in the views during our meals. The upper deck was a perfect spot to watch the sunset and to stargaze at night! We also loved going down to the dock and exploring the rocky beach at low tide. Communicating with Patrick was easy and he was very helpful and responsive. Thank you for hosting us! We made many great memories here!

We are so pleased you choose the Annex for your vacation. Much appreciated!
This is our third time staying at this property so needless to say, we love the place. Everything is perfect and I would highly recommend it to anyone who is interested.
This place is amazing! Beautiful house with high end finishes and appliances. Well laid out with master on main floor and two spacious bedrooms upstairs.
Gorgeous decks with unobstructed views.
Waking up to that view was incredible. Absolute oasis. I definitely want to come back in summer to go for a swim.

We are so pleased you recognize the Annex as an Oasis. We feel the same. Plus the autumn colours are perfect in October. Please come again!
This home spoiled us for all future vacation homes. We really didn’t want to leave. Every morning we woke up to a beautiful sunrise on the water. The bedrooms and bathrooms are lovely! The master bath is like a 5 star hotel. The kitchen is stellar.
The owner checked in with us during our stay and left a small collection of local food items for us! We got to play the original Trivial Pursuit which was a blast from the past for us.
The only problem with the location, not the owner’s fault, was the mosquitoes. Apparently it’s a new problem for this area but the mosquitoes were BRUTAL. We couldn’t really go outside unless covered in repellent because the mosquitoes swarmed us. Literally swarmed us. It was like something from a Hitchcock movie. We had to plan our exit from the house and from the car which was actually pretty comical. Despite that, if you cover in repellent, once you get down to the water, it’s fine. The water is beautiful and clear and you can wade out to the little dock.
The neighborhood is quiet, which is really lovely. If you want groceries, there is a local store but it’s limited. The people are so very friendly.
We’d definitely stay here again!

Thank you for your kind review. It is a pleasure to hear from those that appreciate our vacation home. On occasion, mother nature is not on our side.
We really enjoyed the annex. It was as described . Check in process was a breeze. Quiet, beautiful view and house has everything you need. Strongly recommend. Tatamagouche was a cute low key area. We wanted to visit some part of the maritimes and ended up driving a lot to visit areas such as Halifax, Annapolis, hopewell and PEI.
The owner Patrick is a terrific host. We chatted a bit before booking and he answered all my questions. The Annex is a beautiful home, and the pictures are just as shown. We did a quick day trip to Halifax 1hr45 minutes from the home so it was great to stay in the quiet town of Tatamagouche and still hit the big city for a day. We ordered lobster from a local fishery and it was fantastic. We even saw some seals a few evenings passing by at a far distance. That was a great sight to see. I would not hesitate to book this home again. Thank you for the great week
We absolutely loved our stay! The pictures do not do it justice… it was beautiful and we consider ourselves harsh critics. We definitely prefer to stay in accommodations that are above average. The views are spectacular and we will definitely be back. Thank you for a wonderful Christmas experience. Kind Regards, Donna and David Flinn
Host was lovely- can’t wait to return to The Annex.
The property was just as described, very clean and we felt the warmth of the host’s hospitality. Can’t wait to return in the fall to enjoy a piece of paradise. Coffee outside overlooking the ocean? A dream!
My girlfriends and I decided we needed a weekend of R&R out of the city. We were even shocked to find the Annex was even more beautiful than the photos. The property was absolutely stunning, pristine and the view was something out of a tourism magazine. We could not of asked for a more beautiful weekend away.
Patrick was a gem to communicate with. Very easy to get ahold of and attentive. He had everything organized down to a descriptive document showing us how to use the fireplace and temperature gauges.
We hope to visit again during the summer months to take advantage of the beach and dock.

Thank you for staying at the Annex. It was a pleasure to share the place with you and your friends. We look forward to your return.
Two couples spent two great nights at the Annex. Everything was as represented in the ad. We had a great time and hope to return someday. The view was beautiful. We easily could have brought along another couple as there was tons of room.

Sally,
We are pleased you enjoyed your stay at the Annex. It was a pleasure to have you as our guests. Until next time, stay safe.
The Annex was above and beyond all expectations. There was no expense spared when building this cottage from the heated towel bars, to the in floor heating, top of the line kitchen appliance right down to the bed linen! We will be back and recommending to everyone we know!

Thank you for staying at the Annex. We look forward to your next visit. Cheers!
Patrick was a great host to work with. The home is a lovely area and such a lovely spot to relax and visit. Responded to our questions/queries was very prompt and helpful. We will definitely visit this site again!
Absolutely amazing property! We were 5 best friends from elementary/high school celebrating our 40th birthdays within a few months of each other, and we wanted a beautiful quiet location where we could put our feet up, reminisce, relax, and catch up over a glass of wine (or 3). The Annex provided the perfect setting for all this and more. Plenty of comfy beds to sleep in, professional appliances that make cooking a dream, huge island for all our snacks and conversation, the best view for sipping coffee in the morning and the most amazing fireplace and comfy couch to cozy up on and chat at night. Even the amazing a
sink made washing dishes a dream (there is also a fantastic dishwasher). Not a detail was forgotten in this new home. The bathroom fixtures, window shades, linens, towels, heated floors, faucets, showers, etc were all 5 star hotel quality. But this was better because it provided all the comforts of a cozy family home as well. The home was extremely clean too. Not a spec of dust or any evidence of past guests. The screened in sun porch looked like a great place to hang out in the summer, too (it was a bit chilly in late Oct). We enjoyed a short day trip to the Jost winery as well (20 min down the road), and Tatamagouche is closeby for any essentials. There was plenty of parking. We all travelled separately (2 cars, 1 van, 2 pick up trucks) and there was still parking room to spare. Patrick was great to deal with. Always available to answer my questions, and provided all the info we needed for our stay. The only negative was leaving! I look forward to hopefully returning with my family. My friends said the same. We all LOVED our stay. This place has raised the bar extremely high for all future vacation rentals. Thank you Patrick!
My family and I can't thank Patrick enough for sharing this wonderful home with us. The location was beautiful and peaceful, with gorgeous water views throughout the house and from every bedroom. The home was very comfortable and well appointed. Extra touches and amenities like heated floors, and a welcome bag with samplings of the local offerings exceeded our expectations. We had a lovely, relaxing time outside on both porches and cooking/grilling together. Patrick was great to work with, quick to answer questions, and offered some great recommendations for the area. Highly recommended, and we will certainly try to stay at The Annex again upon returning to the area!
