Great location in the centre of town close to station, tourist office, supermarket and bakery. And the view of the snow-capped mountains from the living room was so beautiful, I could have stared out the window all day!

Superb Central Accommodation

Great apartment in the center of Cauterets with secure on site parking. We loved being able to observe the musical entertainment in the town square from the balcony. But the double glazed windows meant we were able to shut out any noise once we went to bed. The bed was very comfortable and bathroom fine. A lift (elevator) made access to this third level easy. Unfortunately logistics prevented the presence of an onsite host to brief us so we had to figure out how to turn on the hot water breaker on the electrical panel and also plug in the WiFi modem, also in the electrical panel box. We found the kitchen facilities great and used them extensively. The apartment stayed cool even though the outside day temperatures often exceeded 30 degrees. And we found the surrounding valleys beautiful and enjoyed lots of mountain walks. Highly recommend this lovely accommodation.

Nous avons mal dormi malgré une literie confortable

L'appartement est super, les literies confortables. Malheureusement une chambre donne sur la rue bruyante à partir de 7h le matin (livreurs, tut tut tut du camion poubelle qui recule ...) et bruyante le soir (différentes activités organisées par la mairie jusqu'à 23h minuit) et (les fêtards qui sortent du bar de la place en hurlant jusqu'à 3h du matin .....) Le maire a autorisé un bar (le Royalty je crois), à fermer à 3h et forcément cela nous a réveillé quasiment tous les jours sauf .... quand il pleuvait et il n'a pas beaucoup plu. Donc appartement super si vous faites la fête pas si vous voulez vous reposer après une journée de marche ou une cure.

Bonjour Monsieur, Nous découvrons que l'emplacement de notre appartement ne vous a apporté aucune satisfaction contrairement à de nombreuses personnes qui l'avaient qualifié d'exceptionnel ( vue sur les 3 vallées et l'esplanade des oeufs, proximité de tous commerces et du Jardin d'enfants...). Nous louons régulièrement à des familles avec des enfants qui occupent cette chambre. Nous venons nous y reposer souvent, utilisons aussi celle-ci, certes côté rue, mais n'avons pas constaté de telles nuisances. Globalement, Cauterets est une station Familiale plutôt tranquille. Nous allons nous rapprocher de la Mairie pour tenter de solutionner ce problème. Cordialement ! Marie-Jo et Frédéric Delattre
