About this property

Open and airy Zen retreat; Spacious, secluded; red rock views in West Sedona!

Our cleaning company has enhanced their procedures in light of Covid19. Enjoy our large greatroom, fully stocked kitchen & open spaces in a secluded neighborhood**

Welcome to Sedona! Come share our beautiful home amidst red rock views and the calm grace and beauty of Sedona’s peaks and valleys. Explore a vortex, hike, jeep, helicopter and bicycle your way through a warm small-town experience in one of Arizona’s and the world's natural wonders.

Our home sits on a private cul de sac, in a quiet secluded neighborhood. It is surrounded by red rocks and abundant native evergreen trees and plants, yet we are only moments from most restaurants, hiking, shopping at Tlaquepaque and uptown Sedona. Our guests have called it "sunny and inviting." Come Share the mojo.

This is a one-of-a-kind home that has an amazing great room with 13' ceilings and clerestory glass that lets in Arizona’s blue skies and Sedona’s changeable weather. From the second story library, views of Cockscomb, Cathedral Rock and Thunder Mountain can be seen through these windows. The light coming through one of the windows literally sparkles prismatically from the dining area chandelier. We’ve discovered that the house has a mellow vibe that causes us to slow down, forget about our concerns and enjoy life.

Your friends and family can share the spacious 4 bedroom site and use it as a kickoff space to enjoy Sedona or stay in and use the three-1st floor patios and one-2nd story balcony to cruise the day. Cook in the kitchen with an amazing view to the south that captures the airport Mesa and Cathedral Rock in the distance. The kitchen is complete. We keep a broad range of organic spices, small appliances and cooking tools for your cooking pleasure.

The great room sports a 82” Smart TV and premium cable as well as 100Mbps wireless internet. The huge windows view Thunder Mountain and Chimney Rock to the north. The covered back patio is lit and heated for pleasant evenings.

The Master bedroom has a king bed with a brand new memory foam mattress and down-alternative pad to give softness to the firm mattress. This room enjoys it's own bathroom with separate bathtub and shower with double sinks. We have provided fragrant and non-fragrant shampoos, conditioners and body washes in both upstairs and downstairs showers. We have also provided non-fragrant liquid hand soap and conditioner in both bathrooms. We want to be sensitive to people with allergies to fragrances. The master bedroom has a view to the south and access to a private balcony, it has an additional air conditioning unit to permit separate control.

Careful attention has been given to bedding, mattresses and pillows throughout, with a focus made on sleeping comfort. Each bedroom has a ceiling fan for your comfort and a compact makeup table, blow dryer and mirrors so you can quickly get out the door to enjoy your day.

The other 3 bedrooms each have queen-sized beds. Two have memory foam mattresses with down-alternative padding while the third one has a box spring. These mattress are less than 1 year old. We've queried everyone who has slept in our beds for their opinion on comfort. Everyone has slept very well. Most have asked for the link where we bought our pillows.

Jeannie (owner) is sensitive to animal dander. She cannot risk an asthma attack so we unfortunately can't accept your pets in our home. Please respect our wishes. This will also make it easier for others who also would like to stay but have respiratory challenges.

We are super close to everything so you won't have to fight too much traffic going to and fro. Our guests remark that we are secluded, yet close.

Miss this beautiful home already!
We had an absolutely amazing stay at our VRBO in Sedona! From the moment we arrived, Patrick and Jeannie were incredibly welcoming and attentive. Their hospitality truly made our trip special. The property itself was stunning—immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and equipped with all the amenities we could possibly need. The breathtaking views of Sedona’s red rocks were the cherry on top. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and highly recommend this VRBO to anyone looking for a memorable getaway. Five stars all the way!

We all loved our stay at this beautiful house in Sedona. It had closed access to everything. We loved the hot tub and all the patios since we had great weather (May 1-4). Highly recommend!

Excellent retreat-couldn’t be better!
We had a group of 5 friends in Sedona for a retreat. The hosts very clearly take excellent care of the property and their guests. There were lovely little surprises in how well appointed the house was - I have never stayed at a VRBO with so many well thought out details. One of us is a baker who let them know she planned to make bread, and they even left out a kitchen scale for that purpose! The house itself is truly as wonderful as the pictures show and closer to everything we wanted to do and see than we anticipated. We did a Sound Healing and massage day in the house and the atmosphere was perfect, with everyone able to alternate between massage and the hot tub. If you’re thinking about a Sedona trip, I can’t imagine there is a better place to stay than here. Thanks for making us feel so welcome in your lovely home! Aloha, The BadAsses

Patrick is a third generation Arizona native and son of a Marine. An industrial designer and engineer, he works for a large aircraft company promoting innovation and advanced manufacturing methods. Patrick enjoys flying warbird aircraft, sailing, motorcycling, guitar and martial arts, he is working to obtain a 5th degree black belt in Shorin-Ryu Karate.

Jeannie hails originally from Kentucky, spending her childhood in the lush landscapes there. Jeannie runs a pool design company creating new designs for homeowners and builders. Jeanne enjoys French horn and guitar, she is a Reiki master and studies Tai chi.

Both Jeannie and Patrick have taken to a particular zeal to making the guest stays as good as possible...we enjoy it.

Why they chose this property

There is something special about this space, it's exposure and interior space-plan drive a calm into anyone who inhabits it. The warm and colorful interior has a welcoming broad-shouldered nature that says "stick around a bit". We adore the chandelier, in the morning and evening, light spills in from the high clerestory windows sets it afire with prismatic light. One guest called the house "inviting" and we really like that.

If you enjoy yoga, the living room has plenty of space for several people. We provide 8 mats for your enjoyment. Our hope it that you will slow down a bit. We have provided several different board and card games as well as a variety of jigsaw puzzles, a modest library and a satellite radio so that you can get away from TV's and electronic devices.

We have placed makeup tables, blow dryers and makeup mirrors and stools in each room. We know that you want to go enjoy your day as soon as possible. Our goal was to allow you not to tie up a bathroom, further delaying the process.

We also have added a hot-tub for your enjoyment, viewing the stars from it on the West porch at night has been a thrill.

What makes this property unique

Being in the Western side of Sedona has been a real bonus. From Phoenix you can arrive through the Cornville wine country and shave :05 minutes off of the drive or you can take Exit 198 and arrive through the Village which gives you spectacular views on your way in. It is quieter, and we are in an elevated green area at about 4,444 feet.
Several grocers are only a couple of minutes away, it is a short walk to the library, bars and pizza. Most restaurants are within 10 minutes of our property

Traveling from our house to Uptown Sedona or anywhere east of our property typically doesn't have the amount of traffic that coming up from South Sedona or the Village does. This allows you to arrive many places quickly. You can take a shortcut through scenic Thunder Mountain Drive if traffic is congested going back home. This typically happens early evening.
