Girls trip

What a great house to call home after a day of site seeing snd shopping. AZ has so much to offer and the cougar house was a great place to enjoy with friends. We loved the Cougar house. Thanks Lisa

Great location for Sedona

We were a group of longtime friends meeting in Sedona for several days. Cougar House was a great location; away from the hustle & bustle of central Sedona. The rooms were spacious and the hosts had thought of many conveniences. The outdoor spaces were really enjoyed. Loved it!

Spring Break

Family Getaway in Sedona, March 2024

We had a wonderful family vacation in this large, beautiful home in Sedona. Our children flew in from Alaska, Ohio and Texas and we enjoyed hiking, game nights, family meals and shopping in Sedona, Cottonwood, Flagstaff and Grand Canyon from our home base in the Cougar House. It is centrally located along one of the main roads but is in a private neighborhood with no traffic issues and great views of the red rocks. The house was very well maintained and clean with every amenity you could need. There are a number of grocery stores in the area and the house has all of the staples and cooking supplies you might need. The laundry facilities were clean and new and the outdoor areas were delightful. We would definitely recommend it for a large family groups with 4 king sized beds and 3 bathrooms. My only suggestions is that this is not a house appropriate for someone with impaired mobility or low vision. There are changes in floor height and steps in every room or area, and it is easy to miss one in the dark or if you are carrying something. The kitchen is small with an island and it would be difficult to get a walker or wheelchair around the kitchen.

DeRoy and I enjoy the outdoors. We have two veterinary hospitals. One is an equine facility and the other small animal hospital. We enjoy competing with our horses.

Why they chose this property

We had been visiting Sedona regularly for several years and in 2015 pondered the idea of purchasing a property to enjoy. We wanted a property conveniently located with beautiful views in a peaceful area which offered outdoor living. It took several years to find this property. Since we weren't ready to relocate we liked the idea of sharing the property with others to enjoy. The vacation rental seemed like a great match.
