Looking for a place where you can enjoy everything Flagler has to offer -- then look no more! Our apartment is nestled on the outskirts of Florida's historic "Loop" amidst majestic oaks, magnolias and palm trees and on the edge of Bulow Creek. We sit secluded on three acres of pristine Florida beauty. Enjoy your days relaxing on the dock, fishing, hiking, biking or taking in our gorgeous beaches. We are centrally located between St. Augustine and Daytona Beach, less than four miles to the Flagler Pier and Flagler's fabulous beaches. Come enjoy all that Flagler Beach has to offer – not only our fabulous beaches, but also our incredible, peaceful waterways, fabulous trails and scenic drives.

THE SPACE: Living Room/Kitchen, 1Bedroom/1Bathroom.

Our apartment is completely detached from our home and private in every way. Comfortably appointed, warm and cozy. After a busy day of fun, relax in the beautifully decorated living room complete with pull out sofa, flat screen smart TV, cable and internet. Fix your favorite meal in the cozy well-appointed kitchen or BBQ on the grill outside. Sink into the comfy queen size bed dressed with hotel quality linens for a great night's sleep. Relax, refresh, renew and rejuvenate your soul.

Our long driveway sets you up for a beautiful surprise! Once the trees open up you will see a wide open property. Go straight to the first house on your right where your parking is located just outside the French doors. Enter into your spacious 600 sq ft, well equipped, and incredibly comfortable space. The main room is wide open and includes a living space, an eating area and a full kitchen. A short hallway leads you to find a full bath, a separate laundry room, and a bedroom to your left.

Rest will come easy with a view of the gorgeous Old Florida Canopy outside your windows.

Guest Access:
This private apartment is separate from our house and there are no shared spaces. Guests have their own parking and access to the yard, dock, canoe, and kayak.

Interaction with Guests:
While we live on the property, we want your stay to be as private, peaceful and quiet as possible. Just know that we are here to assist you in any way we can.

What an awesome place to stay!

This is the best VRBO we’ve ever stayed in! The owners are awesome and make the check in, stay, and check out effortless and pleasant. The property is immaculate! The apartment was inviting and very well kept. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. We truly enjoyed staying here and can’t wait to come back!

Second visit to Sunset Creek

Second time staying at Sunset Creek was enjoyable as expected. Clean cottage in a peaceful neighborhood but still very close to all the Flagler Beach activities. The comfortable and private dock is great for fishing whenever you have the urge. Hopefully will return next spring. Thanks for being great hosts!!!!

Beautiful property, but since it was someone's home, we didn't feel comfortable exploring. Just a personal preference for us. We saw the lake and dock from a distance. The "cottage" attached to their garage. It was spacious, beautifully decorated, fully stocked, and completely comfortable in every way.

Perfect for our weekend

We stayed here as a stopover weekend on our way home from the FL Keys. It was perfect for that purpose. We enjoyed a nice relaxing weekend. Sat on the dock both nights and watched the fish jump out of the water and the sunset. Got a great recommendation for pizza (Bronx Pizza) from the owner. I didn’t plan on doing any cooking on this leg of our trip but you could if you wash the dishes after each meal (no dishwasher and just the essentials for dishes, but plenty of choices for pots and pans). The bed was comfortable and the high ceilings made the place feel huge. For me it was like staying in a upscale hotel. Would definitely stay again if I am ever passing through there again. We had a lot of stuff with us because of the road-trip we were on and it was great to just park outside the door and bring everything in! This apartment is rather large and we had plenty of room for everything we had.

Birthday Weekend Getaway

My partner and I had a lovely weekend getaway here. It was great to have access to a dock for some private fishing, and the location was close enough that a drive to the beach for dinner was only 10 or 15 minutes. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and the nautical decorations were adorable. Definitely looking forward to stay here again in the future.

What a great spot!!

Just perfect! Caught 2 tarpon of the dock.. the canoe was great to have and be able to use! Hosts are amazing! Such a great old Florida feel outside and so nice inside! See you next year!

Beautiful property and a very well maintained cottage. We enjoyed walking around the quiet neighborhood and just sitting on the dock. The cottage is as adorable as the pictures show. Everything was exceptionally clean. We enjoyed our stay and Greg was a very gracious host.

Nice upgrades to an already great place.

I’ve stayed here several times. The setting is unparalleled. The laundry facilities underwent significant upgrades since my visit last Fall. This unit lacks nothing. It’s exactly as advertised. The owners and property managers make every effort to provide an excellent stay. It’s a real gem.

Why they chose this property

We bought our place in July of 2015 and it has undergone a total overhaul from top to bottom. When we bought the place it was in need of major renovation but we were ready to buy before we went inside - when you see our property you will understand why. What is so amazing is how the inside now matches the outside and there is not anything we would change, except all the hard work it took to get here - but that just helps us appreciate it that much the more!

To own 3 acres in a beach town and be on the water overlooking a state park - wow! Just wow!
