Situated in the ideal location, 1611 Sea Dunes is just a few steps to the boardwalk and beach. Literally walk right out to the shoreline from the back patio and enjoy the stunning sunrises, dolphin sightings, and warm, ocean breezes while digging your toes into the sand. The refreshing, newly-renovated community pool is a short two-minute walk away, and guests can access the private tennis courts for an invigorating match with family or friends.

Within the Omni Amelia Island Resort (formerly known as the Amelia Island Plantation), guests can also enjoy miles of paved biking/walking trails, the short and long golf courses, the luxurious spa, many boutiques, nice playgrounds, and delicious restaurants. There's even mini golf, a nature center that offers tours, and a chapel with weekly services! If venturing out beyond the resort grounds, guests also love to visit the charming Fernandina Beach Historic District, which offers an impressive lineup of dining and shopping options about 20 minutes north.

Golf is available at many great courses in the area, with Oak Marsh and Little Sandy being situated right in the resort itself. Plus, bikes and golf carts are also available to rent nearby. Please be advised that this property is privately owned and managed and not a rental through the Omni Amelia Island Resort. It does not give you access to "resort privileges or amenities”, meaning the main Omni hotel pool, fitness center, shuttle service, Amelia Island Club facility, or Racquet Park (although tennis lessons can still be scheduled here.) We will gladly answer any questions about area activities, our property, or its amenities.

*Please note that small dog/s may be considered but any dog must be approved by management. The size restrictions in place are no more than two dogs will be allowed for a combined weight of 50 lbs maximum. Guests must agree to certain terms and conditions. A $150 nonrefundable pet fee will be required and guests must sign the pet agreement. If the pet fee is not automatically applied at booking, it will be after the reservation is created. Note that dogs must be current on all vaccinations, be house broken, be spayed or neutered, and must be sociable with people and other dogs. No cats or other pets will be considered.
