Owner tried to charge for bogus cleaning

The place is basic and simple, as expected. The carpet was grey with dirt in areas and needed a clean, however the owner is now trying to charge me $165 for cleaning the carpet due to dog smell. This is after we paid him $60 extra in cash to be nice as we had 3 dogs. This was above what we already paid just as a nice gesture. The owner, David, still tried to charge us for cleaning even though he advertised it as pet friendly and we ticked “pets” as coming. Very opportunistic and disappointing.

The platform should withhold the payment until the client is fully satisfied of the services. Poor service doesn’t deserve full payment.

A very quiet and comfortable studio

We loved staying at this studio. It was well appointed , quiet and only a few minutes drive into the lovely main street of Gawler. We would love to stay again if the opportunity arises.
