Nestled into a forest setting, Calhoun's Cabin offers the perfect location for an outdoors-inspired getaway to California! With both mountains, rivers, and forest as the backdrop to this vacation, your group will never have a dull moment. Find Bear Valley Ski resort about a half hour to the northeast. Find Giant Sequoias less than 15 minutes to the southeast, or do a little fishing in one of the rivers such as Sourgrass Day Use recreation area.

Small tidy hip and airy

Perfect Location

My husband and stayed for a week in January. The cabin had what we needed. We normally stay in Bear Valley and after this stay, we prefer the location of Camp Conelly. The cabin is perfectly located within 15min to skiing, grocery stores and restaurants.

Comfy cabin close to Bear Valley

We stayed at this charming cabin over the Dr MLK Jr holiday weekend. It was clean, comfy and in a nice “neighborhood” of other cabins. The kitchen was well equipped and the cabin was perfect for our family of 4.

Perfect location for some R&R

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is beautiful and it’s nice and private. The cabin is well stocked with pots/pans, dishes, and towels. I recommend bringing your own toilet paper, paper towels, and garbage bags or you may need to buy them at the general store. You will love this cabin!
