Comme le dit le titre, tout c’est super bien passé, mieux que la description, spacieux, lumineux et très confortable. Juste qu’il Faudrait préciser dans l’annonce que la terrasse n’est pas accessible aux personnes handicapées en fauteuils . Dommage, avec les belles journées que nous avons eues. Remarque valable pour toutes les locations, car j’ai dû en annuler 2 avant de trouver celle-ci

Great location, size, & security. Kitchen & bath tub needs updating.

From the hallway, to the elevator, to the apartment and its patio, you'll have plenty of room. However, like most European places, the bathroom and kitchen is small but functional. The cooking stove is rather outdated with only two burners so close we had difficulty cooking two things at once. We found the controls on the micro-wave so confusing we gave up on it. In the bathroom, the tub bottom is curved with no non-slip mat and no grab handles available. If you take a shower, once you get any soap on the tub bottom you are going to slip. I slipped twice, so, be wary. Otherwise, we could not have found a better location. With wide doors from the living room and bedroom to a spacious patio, you have a feeling of openness while feeling secure at the same time. Shopping for groceries or eating out could not have been easier. The city was easy to navigate from the apartment. If you have a car and are staying a week or more, you can save money by buying a recurring ticket for parking. (You buy them from the machines in the garage) So, with a little updating in the kitchen and bath, this place would easily deserve 5 stars but for the reasons listed above we felt compelled to give it 4 stars.

Location is everything

We chose this apartment purely on the basis of location as my partner has just had surgery on both feet and we wanted somewhere absolutely central in Nimes. The disadvantage is that the apartment is hard to find – the one way system in Nimes is difficult, traffic heavy and the Halles-Coupole car park not easy to locate. But once there the apartment is literally above the modern shopping mall above the underground carpark. [We stayed three nights and our total car parking bill was Eur 40 which was fine.] The entrance to the apartment block doesn’t seem that salubrious but the lobby is secure, the lift & corridors clean and well maintained. The apartment itself is exactly as described, clean, well maintained and well equipped. The big bonus is the large roof terrace which, although not totally private from its neighbours, does provide a pleasant outdoor space in which to dine or take a glass of wine. Not too noisy either. Very convenient to nip downstairs to the fresh food market or there is a Carrefour Supermarket a couple of minutes away. Nimes is – apart from the traffic getting in and out – very well situated for day trips to other towns, particularly Avignon, Montpellier and Uzes. Although this is not luxury accommodation, if you want somewhere in Nimes which is right in the centre and has some outdoor space, it would probably be difficult to find better.

Just like the photos

Loved the location and the sun terrace (a sun trap!). Located above a great market, round the corner from Carrefour City. About 15/20 mins walk to the Arena, 10/15 mins to Temple of Diana and park, 5/10 Masion Carree, 5 mins to shops. Quiet at night dispite being in the city centre. Fast WiFi. Well stocked with pots, pans, kitchen utensils. Apartment does look just like the photos. Perfect for a visit to Nimes.

Perfectly located appartment in Nimes with marvelous sundeck

We enjoyed our stay in Nimes. Fresh food market Les Halles is just down the elevator, all other attractions of the historic center are in a few minutes walking distance. Public parking in Nimes is a general nightmare. If you use the Le Halles parking next door check for weekly rates instead of paying daily. The appartment provides everything you need for a relaxing stay.

A modern, spacious, comfortable apartment

The apartment was just as described on VRBO and the location couldn't be better. It has an enormous terrace, with dining, seating, and lounging areas. The apartment was immaculately clean and well maintained and the owner was friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The only surprise was that the nearby underground parking was €16 per day, but all -in-all the rental was an extremely good value.

LOVED this place!!!!

We stayed in 6 places in France this month, and this apt was the favorite! The location was absolutely ideal, right above the free food market and the little mall, and yet also in such an interesting part of town. The apt was spacious, and the terrace was fabulous!! We ate most of our meals there. It felt like being in the country! Can you tell we loved this place! Nim s was also a great town to visit!!! We will come back!!

Great location

This was great location for exploring Nimes and surrounding area. Covered marker at your doorstep and plenty nice restaurants and cafes to enjoy. We loved the balcony and apartment and would recommend it to others. Very friendly welcome with lots helpful information. Good times!

Une pépite en centre ville

Appartement idéalement situé : plein centre ville, aux pieds des halles. L'appartement est tout équipé (équipements électroménagers, wifi...), propre et décoré avec goût. La description faite dans l'annonce est précise. Les propriétaires sont charmants, disponibles et accueillants. Des documents sur la ville de Nîmes, les choses à voir, des bonnes adresses ont été mis à notre disposition par les propriétaires. L'appartement est idéal pour une famille de 4 personnes. Assez exigeants sur la literie, nous avons trouvé un lit de bonne qualité ainsi que le canapé-lit (ce qui est plutôt rare!). La cerise sur le gâteau : une magnifique terrasse exposée plein sud, elle aussi très bien équipée : transats, salon de jardin complet (table, chaises, table basse, canapé et 2 fauteuils), store double pente. Très calme, peu de bruits. Nous avons apprécié aller chercher, dans les halles, de quoi petit-déjeuner le matin : pain frais et fruits frais, le tout dans la bonne humeur et avec le sourire des commerçants! Je recommanderai cette belle location à ma famille et mes amis!

Tout confort et idéalement situé

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce très bel appartement situé au coeur de Nîmes, à 2 pas des Halles, idéales pour faire son marché le matin et des rues commerçantes. Nous n'avons eu aucune nuisance sonore la nuit. L'appartement est très bien agencé, confortable et décoré avec goût. La literie excellente. La terrasse superbe. Et la propriétaire attentive et réactive. Je conseille cet endroit pour un séjour réussi !
