Lake Daze - a spacious, family-friendly home right on beautiful North Long Lake!

Lake Daze is a 3 Bedroom, 2 bath home, located right on the lake, that sleeps up to 10 people! In addition to the 3 bedrooms, there is an additional "bonus room" on the upper level. Lake Daze has everything you need to enjoy your stay.

During the summer you can enjoy a day of fishing and boating on North Long Lake and then enjoy supper at a nearby restaurant. We are close to Nisswa, Baxter, and Brainerd with activities to please everyone in your family. In addition to fishing and boating there is also golfing, go-karts, microbreweries, wineries, restaurants, antiques, bike trails, hiking, mini-golf, and waterparks nearby! Or just relax by the lake!

During the winter you can snowmobile on nearby trails or venture out to go ice-fishing. The gas fireplace in the living room creates a cozy environment to play board games, work on a jigsaw puzzle, read, or watch TV.

The kitchen has a large island that seats up to 6 with a dining table that easily seats 4 people. Kitchen is open to the living room and a family room with great views of the lake. The living room opens to the deck. During nice weather you can enjoy the sunrise while sitting on the deck or just enjoy being outside.

Downstairs bedroom has 1 queen bed.
Front upstairs bedroom, overlooking the lake, has 1 queen bed.
Bedroom #2 (middle upstairs bedroom) has 1 queen bed plus 1 twin over full bunkbed.
Bonus room (over the garage) has 1 queen bed, 1 twin trundle bed, and 1 queen sleeper sofa.
Kid friendly - kid size table with 2 chairs are also available and is in the sunroom.

Please strip beds that were used and leave linens in clothes baskets provided. Also, please start a load of towels in the washer (don't need to wait until the load is done).
Return canoes/kayak to trailer and paddles & life jackets to the garage. Also, if you used outdoor games, please return those to the garage and stack and return any chairs that you used outside.

This was our third year staying at Lake Daze for our family vacation. We love the house, it fits our family perfectly and is kid & baby friendly. We enjoy the shallow water for the kids to swim in by the dock.

Very comfortable and nice place that accommodated our family well.

Wonderful home to enjoy with a family. Very clean and comfortable. The owners obvious take a lot of pride and care for the property. Only downside is the race track noise from BIR.

Lake Wonderful Daze

The house was so spacious and clean. It had everything we needed and more. The beds were very comfortable to sleep in. The lake was very shallow but it was great to just float in and stay cool.

Family vacation

We had the most wonderful time! The space is amazing and we even had a few calm days on the lake using the canoes/ kayaks. We actually caught a lot of fish in the canoes not far out from the cabin. We had a couple rainy days inside with lots to do. Games and puzzles and so much space to relax. Thank you Joan!

2024 Family Vacation

Lake Daze has everything you would need and more. Yard/Dock/Lake were great for everyone! The lake was the main draw and it didn’t disappoint. Water depth was only 2 feet (super nice for the kids) at the end of the dock and water clarity was 8+ feet!

Great place to stay!

These are great people to rent from, They offer so much to make your vacation fun and enjoyable. The property is great and clean, close to a lake with a dock. They have 2 canoes plus 1 kayak for their renters to use. Joan is great about answering questions quickly and seems to be very polite and helpful. We have stayed there 2 two years and plan to stay next year!!

We had the most wonderful time!!! The location and property were spectacular. It offered everything we needed and more. The view and the lake were the best! The quick response from the property owner was much appreciated. Our only regret was we wished we’d booked a longer stay.

Needs better ventilation upstairs. Home is very convenient, nice and mostly comfortable. Really nice kitchen and living space. The extra refrigerator was wonderful. Clean and spacious, modern and updated.

Good Time

It is a very nice place and comfy beds. Very shallow lake which worked good for toddler. The only down side is Brainered International Speedway is very close and when outside we heard all the drag racing so it was hard to carry on a conversation when outside with all the noise from BIR.

Perfect Family Weekend

It was a perfect place to stay right next to BIR. We were there for weekend racing but not everyone was attending. It was so close we could go back for lunch, get the kids and they were able to enjoy time at the track without having to be there all day (which gets to be a long day)! The house was very well stocked with everything we needed and more. We will need to go back sometime in the summer when we can take advantage of all of the outdoor equipment they had for use.

Beautiful Lake Home!!

We had a great week at Lake Daze! This is a beautiful home with plenty of room for all 7 of us adults. Everything was just as pictured. It is close to the lake with great views! Our week was very warm and we spent a lot of time on the lake. Very nice swimming area with a sandy bottom and great lake for boating. Nice fire pit area which we used nightly. Joan was great to work with and we would definitely stay here again. Thank you for sharing your place with us!

Perfect Family Spot

This was our first extended family get together. We had 4 families, with kids ranging from 1-4. Lake was perfect for the kiddos. Lots of space to run and play in the yard. Bedrooms and amenities were wonderful. No bathtub which was a little tricky with young ones. But overall absolutely wonderful stay.

Joan and Ken live in Iowa and purchased Lake Daze in the fall of 2018. Family vacations to the Brainerd lakes area have been a long tradition and it has been a dream fulfilled to be able to own this beautiful home and to share it with others!

Why they chose this property

Lake Daze sits on North Long Lake. The water is crystal clear! Plus, the property is situated near a large variety of local attractions including golf courses, shopping, dining, go-kart tracks, and Brainerd International Raceway.

What makes this property unique

Our home is ideal for families with plenty of room both indoors and outdoors for you to enjoy time at the lake. Lake Daze has games, puzzles, and books to enjoy while indoors. Outdoor activities/games include cornhole/bags, yard dice, Jenga, KanJam, along with canoes and kayaks.
