Cottage Côte de Nacre 3 km from COURSEULLES SUR MER with all shops, located in the Landing beaches of Ouistreham at Pointe du Hoc (allied cemeteries of St Laurent-sur-Mer, Bayeux, Bény-sur-mer and the Cemetery German of La Cambe).

Ideal for holidays or stays discovered with family or friends.

Numerous possibilities for historic visits (Peace Memorial in Caen - 18 km; the Museums of Bayeux - 17 km and Arromanches - 12 km), gastronomic or nature options available to you between walks, cycling and pleasant visits of our beautiful region with a very rich cultural heritage.

Great stay!

We stayed 2 nights and had a lovely stay.The property was immaculate! The home was well stocked, parking was easy and the property has beautiful flowers. Our hosts were so nice and many thoughtful touches such as fresh cut flowers in the rooms. Recommend!

Quiet, Comfortable and Convient

Everything was exactly as advertised and the unit was an excellent location from which to explore the Normandy coast. Very quiet location and worry free. Would recommend this property to anyone visiting any of the WWII Normandy sites and the Beny Sur Mer cemetery

Excellent stay

This is a lovely property, very clean and tidy and well equipped. The owners live next door, and are simply lovely people, ready to help as little or as much as you wish. They were particularly accommodating when rather than arriving at 5pm, due to Eurotunnel being spectacularly rubbish, we arrived after 9pm. Not a problem, and their cheerful acceptance of my woeful attempts at speaking French was very gratefully received - google translate was very helpful for us both! Amazingly close to Juno beach, you are well placed for all of the Normandy/D-Day sites, and Bayeux is a short drive away. I would stay here again without hesitation.

Lovely stay

Booking was very easy and house immaculate. Wanted to bbq and one on site which is very good. Hosts speak no English so unless you know a little it’s best to get translator app on your phone. WiFi is very poor and pretty useless but good phone signal. Ideal location for touring all D Day beaches - all done plus Bayeux in 3 days.

When you came ti us it was not working very well, but the failure was not coming from the house, but from the terminal which is located at Courseulles sur Mer. Super séjour, magnifiques hôtes !

Le gîte est très joli, l’appartement très grand, grande cuisine avec tout ce qu’il faut, avec un Carrefour juste à côté. Proche des plages du débarquement, mais plus que tout c’est l’accueil de nos hôtes, extrêmement gentils, serviables et souriants. J’aurais aimé pouvoir rester plus longtemps!

A fantastic base for our stay in Normandy.

Fantastic house. It was a super base from where we could explore the area. Everything we needed was there and it was really super clean. The landlady was very warm and charming. You couldn’t find a better place to explore the area. Even with 6 people we had plenty of space.

The cottage is nice, clean and with a lot of space.

The owners are very friendly and gave us a warm welcome. The cottage has all you need to stay for a while and visit the countryside (like D-day beaches). There is plenty of room to sit together and discuss the day or to play games. For us it was a lucky shot as we first searched for a hotel room. However in a hotel there is not this much private space to discuss matters, so we had a very good experience with this cottage/guite and recommend it to everyone who wants to stay this region of France.
