BRAND NEW IN OCEAN OAKS! Sleeps 9. 4 Bedrooms. Primary King with 43” Smart TV on main floor. There is a second bedroom on the main floor with 2 twin beds. Upstairs there is a loft with workspace and desk along with a cozy chair and an half that opens up into a twin sized sleeper sofa and bookshelves filled with books for quiet beach reading. Also upstairs are two Queen bedrooms, each with a 43” Smart TV. All four of the bedrooms have an en-suite full bathroom. Bed linens and towels provided. Living room with two large sofas and side chair and 55” Smart TV (with cable box), dining room, side screened porch with chaise sofa and side chair, large front porch with sectional and large coffee table. Kitchen with upgraded KitchenAid appliances and island seating for 2. Laundry room with sink and folding area. Ceiling fan in each bedroom, in living room, and on both porches.


Private brick patio with gas grille and 6 Adirondack chairs with plenty of space for parking bikes or storing beach items. Outdoor shower adjacent to patio.


Detached single car garage available for parking 1 average sized car. The following are provided and stored in garage for guest use: beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrellas, corn hole board, bocce ball set and assorted beach toys. Ample space for storage of your personal items in the garage.


Parking for 1 average sized vehicle inside the garage, 1 additional vehicle in main driveway, and 1 - 2 additional vehicles (depending on size) in private parking space next to garage. Very short walk to neighborhood pool and pavilion, and to boardwalk to beach!

Truly a perfect stay

This property is fantastic in every respect. We were two families for the week and enjoyed everything about this home - quality, cleanliness, space, location, amenities, and service. We've rented luxury homes all over the world and this one ranks among the best. The property mgmt team is very helpful and organized. We would definitely book again!

We had seven adults and three children and never felt crowded. The Herron House was just beautiful and the layout is perfect! The detail and extras inside and out are outstanding. It felt like home in that it was stocked with everything we needed to enjoy our visit. Really, the only things we had to supply were groceries and beach towels. Once we arrived and parked, we rode our bikes everywhere we wanted to go. This home is tucked away in beautiful private area, but convenient to everything! It’s just a 3 minute ride by bicycle to the waterpark or to shops and restaurants and a 5 minute walk to the beach by a private entry. We enjoyed the porches, patio and shared pool area as well. The only challenge we had was parking 2 large vehicles (F350 & a Nissan Armada) + a Range Rover. But average sized vehicles would have no problem at all parking. We would love to stay here again.

The house layout was perfectly suited for our family of eight adults and one grandchild. The kitchen had every high quality dish, cookware, and utensil you could ever need. The coffee station was an extra special touch. The decor was tastefully done and was very calming. The home’s proximity to the beach and the village center was excellent. The access to beach chairs, umbrellas, beach toys and yard games in the garage were so convenient and appreciated (also high quality items). Even the laundry room was amazing 😍! Who would have thought laundry could be so fun to do while vacationing?I’m worried that no other house will measure up when we visit other places in the future. This one set the bar very high. If you are traveling to Jekyll Island, stay here, you won’t regret it.

After searching different areas this home sold me on trying Jekyll Island. We have stayed in dozens of nice higher end beach properties; this was without a doubt the best maintained and well stocked!! The property feels like home and not like a rental. The kitchen is nicely stocked with items in good condition, extra paper towels, toilet paper...they may be little things, but make a huge difference in the quality of the stay. Not sure we'd visit Jekyll again, but if we did this home would without a doubt be our choice.

Our stay at Heron House was wonderful. The owners of Heron House equipped the house really well. Nothing was over-looked. They kindly included access to beach chairs, bikes, and umbrellas in the garage. The location was great…quick bike ride into Beach Village, but quiet and less-busy part of the island with pretty beaches. We had a very comfortable stay in a beautiful house. Quick walk to beach (keep in mind the walk to the beach includes stairs). Thank you to the owners for their hospitality. We will definitely return.

The Perfect Modern Home close to Beach and Pool

We loved this house so much! Modern, beautifully appointed with really comfortable furniture and a fully equipped Chef’s Kitchen, the house is a very short walk over the dunes to the (best) beach and to the development’s lovely pool. In addition to the ideal location, we loved how everything worked in the house (so rare with rentals!), how we never ran out of knives or serving dishes and that the beds and sofas were so comfy. With parking for 2 cars and 4 bedrooms each with private bath, this house is great for families. Theres a really nice outsoor seating area in the yard and comfy seating on both the front and back (screened) porch. 4 bicycles and other games all included. It was hands-down the best rental experience we’ve ever had - we really didnt want to leave!
