Entspannter Urlaub

Wir hatten mit unserer Familie ( 3Kinder) eine sehr schöne Zeit in Meschers. Wir sind sehr freundlich von Claire empfangen worden, die sich als Ansprechpartnerin vor Ort um das Haus kĂŒmmert. Aber auch der Kontakt zum Vermieter verlief reibungslos! Beide meldeten sich sofort zurĂŒck, und halfen uns sehr ruhig, freundlich und hilfsbereit! Das Haus liegt 7Minuten Fußweg vom Strand ( Plage des Nonnes) entfernt. Dieser ist sehr schön und hat keine zu starke Brandung, gerade fĂŒr die Kleinen Kinder wichtig war. Wer mehr Wellen und Atlantik sucht, dem können wir 30 min Autofahrt an die Cote Sauvage empfehlen ( nördlich des Phare de La Coubre). Es gibt in Meschers mehrere BĂ€cker und einen Supermarkt, der auch sonntags auf hat. Insgesamt hat uns der Urlaub sehr gefallen und wir können den Aufenthalt in Meschers in dem Haus weiterempfehlen!! La location est située dans une zone trÚs calme, bien située entre le centre du village et la plage , il y a tout ce qu'il faut à l'intérieur de la maison ( la télé aurait été un plus )

fijn huis

hele fijne woning in een leuk dorpje met veel activiteiten. Huis ligt op loop afstand van het strand en met de fiets zijn nog andere stranden makkelijk te bereiken. Woning erg ruim en fijn om te verblijven. Vlak voor onze vakantie was er een boom op het huis gevallen. Dit was allemaal goed en mooi hersteld. Lagen her en der echter nog wel bouwresten zoals puin en schroeven in met name de tuin. (vandaar lagere score netheid)

A very enjoyable stay

The house is in a very nice location close to several wonderful beaches. The clostest was 10 mins walk, the others driveable in a few minutes and we had no problem parking. The town and port of Meschers-sur- Gironde is very nice with some very good restaurants, a handy supermarket, petanque rinks and fishing possible if that is an interest. First time to this part of France and was recommended Bordeaux Rose wine which was really good (we don't usually drink rose). The house as clean.. A well fitted kitchen. The lounge area could do with some extra seating there being just a sofa for 2 people. Could have done with a couple of bamboo type chairs with cushions. There is lots of seating for outdoor use.. The bedrooms and beds were nice and clean but we all found the mattresses a bit too firm but that is just a personal perspective. The bedrooms could do with some more wardrobe space. The bedroom I used had no cupboard/ drawer space so I used the spare bed as storage. Ov erall an enjoyabl holiday and decent value for the price.
