Your holiday home, set up as a duplex, occupies one of the two adjoining buildings of a former farmhouse in the heart of a large park.
I live in the other terraced house.

1) Duplex:

GROUND FLOOR :
The living room "les Galets de la Dordogne" welcomes you in a vast rustic and contemporary space. It combines the modern comfort of its multimedia equipment and its equipped kitchen with the authentic character of its rustic living room.
It is equipped with a reversible air conditioning.
Equipment in season:
The kitchen / dining room has a 4-burner hob, a maxi-plancha, an oven, a microwave, a dishwasher, a 2-door fridge-freezer, coffee makers and kettle.
The generous living room has a flat screen TV with satellite reception of French and foreign channels, a convertible sofa of 130cm, an extra folding bed of 90cm, a DVD player, a Hi-Fi system and a PC with ADSL connection by current carrier online.
Many local tourist links are pre-installed on the PC, an abundant up-to-date paper tourist documentation is also available.
The phone is also accessible there via Skype.

FLOOR:
The room "les Acacias", endowed in the offseason 2015-16 with a reversible air conditioning) welcomes you on its 140 bed for a night's sleep between Dordogne and swimming pool.
The redesigned bedroom "Les Peupliers" will let its rustic decor rock your nights on a bed in 130.
The hallway distributes the 2 bedrooms, 1 separate WC and 1 shower room.
The spa shower in the bathroom invites you to relax with its hydro massage jets.

2) Your direct dependencies:

The terrace on the Dordogne side is equipped with a teak lounge (1 table and 6 chairs) with a awning, a parasol and a sideboard for plancha under window.
A second garden furniture, in resin, (2 tables, 4/5/6 armchairs) in the park, on the swimming pool side, is also available on the other facade of your gîte.
A third garden furniture, in resin, (1 table, 4/5 armchairs) is available next to the pool house (see this section)

3) Park and swimming pool:

The swimming pool, filtered with salt, is in the heart of the park, we will share it, you and me, it is 10m by 5m
(depth from 0.90m to 1.80m).
It is closed and covered by Abrisud, complying with the requirements of standard NF P 90-5-2016309.
Completely renovated, it has new approaches in stone slabs and the basin is now covered with a sand-colored liner, reinforced, giving the water a more natural color (blue lagoon)

INDEPENDENT SPA UNDER OUTSIDE SHELTER

 This SPA has 6 places, one of which is lying down, under a 19 m2 enclosed, glazed, openable shelter with direct view of the valley, the bridge, the neighboring castle.

 The pool house provides you with: wooden tables, refrigerators, table football, badminton net, exercise bike, electric barbecue, garden furniture in resin, plates, glasses and cutlery, games for children, sunbathing, ...
The park of one hectare is planted with an alley of fir trees, a bicentennial chestnut tree, walnut trees,
hazel trees, fruit trees, poplars and other coniferous species and decorative trees.
You can play a game of pétanque on the driveway in the alley (boules available in the accommodation)

4) Environment

The limestone rocks (# 150 m high) under which flows the Hope River reflect a maximum of light and warmth in summer on the park, the swimming pool and on the house whose stone walls preserve its freshness.
The rural location of Bourgnette in the famous black triangle of Quercy (in the night sky devoid of any light pollution) offers you the optimal conditions for observing the starry sky.
At the heart of the Circuit des Merveilles en Haut Quercy, you are in the immediate vicinity of the castles of Belcastel and Treyne, the caves of Lacave, Rocamadour, the abyss of Padirac and many other discoveries to be made in this very rich heritage.
From La Bourgnette park, you have a direct view of the river, the bridge (metallic from 1905) and the Treyne castle.
