A wonderful place to stay

Serge's house is a wonderful place to spend a week in the Dordogne area. The house offers you a very comfortable place to stay, and has everything you need. Comfy beds, well equipped kitchen and the view from the balcony is absolutely stunning. This is such a beautiful and peaceful area to stay - you will need a car to get the most out of staying here though. Serge and his co-host Cathy were both very friendly, helpful and welcoming. There was plenty of information, maps, walk routes etc for the local area - we enjoyed La Grotte de Lacave (walking distance from the house), Rocamadour, kayaking on the Dordogne (via Copeyre Canoe), the Gouffre de Padirac, Chateau to Beynac and the Jardins de Marquissac, the steam train at Martel, as well as a local round walk from the house, and another to the top of Roc Des Monges. Mosquito protection is needed for hot summer nights. Thank you Serge for a truly super week in your lovely home!

Netter Kontakt, tolle ruhige Lage. Das Haus ist für die kalte Jahreszeit nur schlecht zu heizen, dafür hatten wir einen Holzofen zusätzlich, schön für die Kinder.Altes authentisches Haus, Bad super, der Rest eher verwohnt. Die grossen Matratzen neu.

Excellent séjour

Nous avons beaucoup aimé cette location, idealement située. Les 2 terrasses sont super agréables. La vue sur le chateau de Belcastel est splendide, ainsi que celle sur les falaises. Le chant des cigales, les visites de rocamadour, padirac, canoe sur la dordogne... nous n'avons manqué de rien, merci à Serge pour son vin de noix et sa compote de pommes maison, on s'est régalé!

Maison avec magnifique vue, très bien équipée. L'accueil est chaleureux, plein de conseils pour les visites et les promenades. Un petit plus, les lits sont faits à notre arrivée. La literie est confortable.

Maison de pays très bien située, superbe panorama

Maison de campagne confortable. Un panorama superbe de la terrasse avec vue sur le château de Belcastel notamment. La grande cours est bien close, très appréciable pour nos deux toutous. Et nous sommes à deux pas des Grottes de Lacave et très proches de Rocamadour.

Fijne uitvalsbasis naar Lot en Dordogne

We zijn erg prettig ontvangen door Mw Chambon. Huisje voelt als prettig thuis en van alle benodigdheden voorzien. Het is vakantie! En de mogelijkheden om de omgeving te verkennen, zijn ruim. Een echte aanrader!

HEUREUX !

Depuis la grande terrasse une vue fantastique sur le château de Belcastel et la vallée. Et si le soleil est trop ardent le plaisir de se sous le murier platane de la petite terrasse. Un gîte tout à fait adapter pour 2 couples avec enfants, avec notamment 2 salles de bain. Un plus les animaux sont acceptés est c'est génial.
