About this property

Amazing Aska Adventure Fishing, Tubing, Kayaking Home on the North Toccoa River!

Welcome to River Run, the perfect Blue Ridge Cabin for multi-family vacations! New images posted of the brand new gourmet kitchen, dining and living room, wood burning fireplace, coffee bar, bathrooms, and 9 picture windows across the river for viewing throughout the cabin. 🎵"Well, it's set way back in the middle of a field, Just a funky old shack"🎶

Spacious yet cozy, this extra large cabin has three big bedrooms, each with a spectacular view of the river. We are comfortably situated for easy access on a moderately level lot for all generations. Many cabins in the "Aska Adventure Area" are limited with a relative level lot for parking, entering the cabin, and outdoor entertaining. We are nestled at the end of the private neighborhood on the river on such an accommodating property.

The main floor includes an extra large living, dining and kitchen entertainment area, walk-in bathroom with laundry amenities, and a king master bedroom suite.

The main level entertaining area is over 1000 sqft. of living space and opens up to a large porch overlooking the river- a perfect place to relax, entertain, share meals, enjoy music, or just sit and listen to the river. So much space for cooking, entertaining, games, football games and reading. Want to play some old 80's music, we have a old receiver step up with Apple Wifi to push with your phones music list and listen to some good old tunes that we played on turntables in the 80's! Please keep your noise to a minimum between 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. both inside and outside. This includes hot tubs, fire pits, and porches. Sound travels easily in the mountains and can disturb unseen guests.

The top floor suite has its own full private bathroom with walk-in shower, makeup/dressing area, a private deck, a queen bed and two sets of bunk beds(full size and twin size) overlooking the river.

The newly updated lower level walkout level has private king bedroom facing the play yard and the river, with a full size bed nook right next door for those needing family members close by. For recreation, the downstairs den has a pool table, foosball table, TV, outdoor covered ping pong table, karaoke machine, corn hole boards, a hot tub, a level grass lawn and seating area facing the river and on the river. There is also a pull-out couch and futon for those families needing more space for additional guests.

This Riverside Cabin provides an atmosphere that will be unforgettable, with an EXTRA large living room, bar, kitchen, two large dining tables, and large porch overlooking 100 feet of waterfront and finished walkout level. Internet speeds are up to date, with Fiber Extreme 300 Mbps, allowing "working from the river," video calling, streaming movies and playing online video games.

A Whole-Home generator is a must in the Aska Adventure area of Blue Ridge to keep power on throughout the cabin with inclement weather and frequent power outages.

We are a dog-friendly property- one of the few you will find in the area. We are in a quiet fishing area along the fresh North Toccoa river feeding Lake Blue Ridge. This is where nature and modern comforts come together. A neighborhood feeling with a private 1.6+ mile trail along the river, past a "Gem Mining and "Fishing Hole" experience and then circling back to the cabin with a mountain view on the river. We are on a private , quiet road with only traffic of the three cabins past ours. We are almost a mile away from Aska road, so the water flowing over the river rocks is the only sounds heard. The cabin is situated in the Aska Adventure Area and less than a 15 minute drive to Downtown Blue Ridge shopping, dining, wineries, breweries, and outdoor activities. This is nature's tubing, kayaking and fishing paradise. It's a wonderful place in Blue Ridge to meet, relax, and enjoy!

Safety is a must, with multiple fire extinguishers, top floor fire ladder, CO/Propane/Fire detectors throughout the cabin. Spotlight ring cameras brighten the driveway and the back yard to provide safety illuminating the garbage bin and walkways and scare away those occasional mountain critters.

And remember the neighborhood was built in the 1980's, north of Atlanta in the Blue Ridge Mountain Range. We want everyone to go back in time to have fun in Blue Ridge with family & friends, but with the luxuries of 2024! ..... 🎶 I'm heading down the Atlanta highway, 🎵Looking for the love getaway....🎶 We would love to host your "Blue Ridge River Fun Memories!"

Please note the "Host Fee" within Vrbo Price Detail section. This includes the automatic $250 cleaning fee and/or the optional $125 pet fee of up to two dogs for those guests bringing their dogs to the visit to the cabin.

Amazing stay at River Run!
This is a beautiful home and location!! We stayed during the winter, and I would LOVE to come back in the warmer months to tube down the river to the property :) There were 14 of us, and plenty of room for everyone. The main level is open, so we didn’t bump into each other all week, and there were plenty of places to sleep. There was plenty to do, even in the winter, with the pool table, foosball, ping pong, hot tub, games, and the river. We cooked 8 meals here and found everything we needed to make that happen.there are plenty of TVs and spacious bathrooms, and the WiFi was phenomenal. I did reach out to the owner when we first arrived because our code would not work, and got an IMMEDIATE response. While we were on the phone she was able to get us in in less than a couple of minutes. The owners are very friendly, and promptly answered my questions, and were eager to make sure that we were comfortable in their home. We enjoyed our stay so very much. Do not scroll past this place!

AMAZING!
The owner was readily available and super kind! This house is stocked with things that I have at my own home. The location is quiet and peaceful and surrounded by trails. We could also take a quick trip to gem mining and shopping or playing or a train ride downtown. We will be back!

Remember
Property was excellent, had nine family members. Some fished some shopped, all rode the train. Had a physical plant issue upon arrival - host went above and beyond expectations to resolve the issue.

My name is Tara Jones. My husband and I recently purchased the River Run Cabin you are interested in visiting. We have been busy updating the cabin to this century and bringing the comforts of our home to the Blue Ridge North Toccoa River area. The river sounds in dolby enhance your experience in every room of the home and especially on the porch, hot tub or front yard! We love to entertain and our last record big celebration was Thanksgiving with over 48 friends and family attending our celebration. We are a Marine-Navy family and are proud to show our Patriotic Pride. We are looking forward to moving our large extended family to enjoy Nature's Entertainment here for some friends and family events.

Why they chose this property

We've been visiting Blue Ridge and the Aska area for 14 years, finally deciding to buy a home there in this secluded "River Village." A nice 1.5 mile walk around the neighborhood, along and overlooking the river with family, and friends We chose the river location because of the private and quiet river setting. You'll love hearing the sound of the North Toccoa River flowing into Lake Blue Ridge! The fishing, kayaking, tubing and hiking is an added benefit for kids and the adults who want to be a kid again! Also, just 15 minutes to Downtown Blue Ridge with only a 1/2 mile or 5 minute drive on a private, county maintained, one lane gravel road with a gentle 400 yard decline along the river to the cabin. We hope you enjoy your stay.

What makes this property unique

Our cabin sits right on the river, on a gradual sloped flat lot, and is in the best location for everything Blue Ridge has to offer including downtown shopping, Lake Blue Ridge, boat rentals, horseback riding, waterfalls, hiking, tube rentals, golf, hiking, and white water rafting. We also love spending time with our friends and family and it's the perfect spot for having parties or cookouts! Just park up the river at Sandy Bottoms and tube/float right back to the cabin, fish all day right outside the front of the cabin or sit on the swing to enjoy nature at its finest surroundings.
