About this property

The Mockingbird Cottage - Charming little cottage for two in a perfect location!

In 2018 we renovated our small guest house that is walking distance to downtown, Compton Gardens, and Crystal Bridges. This small and quaint little cottage is our guest house on a perfect small town street. The front bedroom was upgraded, and the back bedroom was converted to a master bath, with a new shower and refurbished 100 year old claw tub. It will sleep two in the master bedroom. The new renovation has a tank-less water heater and stacked washer & dryer. Property includes WIFI and several premium channels for your entertainment. Enjoy your cup of coffee in the morning in the original kitchen nook of this comfortable little rental. Please be fully aware that this guest house sits on our main residence property, so you do share our yard. We want you to book us with full knowledge of the set up. The good news is we are close by if you need anything during your stay. We are sorry, but no pets allowed at this property.

We enjoyed every moment at the cottage! It was purposefully organized, quaint and cozy but still had plenty of space for the two of us to enjoy. Loved the clawfoot tub! The hosts thought of everything to make the stay amazing.

The Mockingbird Cottage has every convenience you need and a charming decor. Special features are a claw tub, excellent shower, and quality mattress and linens on the king-sized bed. There's also a great screened-in back porch. The air conditioning and ceiling fan kept us very comfortable.

Amazing cottage!

We had an AMAZING visit and loved staying at this beautiful cottage. It was very well appointed, and there seemed no amenities Kevin & Shelly hadn't thought of.It was very comfortable and within walking distance to the square. We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to visit again!

This precious little cottage has everything! Besides being beautifully decorated, it is very comfortable and is conveniently located within about a half mile of downtown. We absolutely loved our stay and will certainly return when in the area.

Perfect little bungalow

This little house was even better than the photos and listing description. It is very nicely decorated, super comfortable and in a peaceful neighborhood. Location was close to downtown and is an easy walk to coffee, restaurants, shopping and trails. The kitchen was fully modern and has everything you could possibly need. No thrift store utensils in this home. We had a wonderful stay.

My wife and I spent 3 nights and loved everything about The Mockingbird Cottage. Tasteful design and modern amenities throughout. About a 10 minute walk to the downtown area with many shops, restaurants, food trucks, activity, etc. Would definitely stay here again.

Fabulous Getaway

Ownership has created a dreamy, beautiful cottage that has so many fine details that each room is magical. From fabulous linens to toiletries and kitchen staples and supplies you will find everything you need. Being just a block away from the city center, exploring is fun! We will definitely stay again!

Perfect Cottage

All the other reviews were very accurate. The cottage was very comfortable and within walking distance of the square. We even enjoyed a visit from Rocky the cat on the back porch. Perfect place to stay for a relaxing visit.

Perfect House to Stay in Bentonville

We loved our accommodations at Mockingbird Cottage! The cottage was immaculate & very nicely decorated with touches of Holiday decor which made it that much more special for our visit. The bed & pillows were very comfortable & we slept great! The house is a very short walk to the Bentonville Town Square so location was perfect. Kevin was excellent in his communication with us & even had the cottage ready early for our arrival. Highly recommended for a perfect place to stay in Bentonville!!

Perfect Location

We really enjoyed our quick weekend getaway to Bentonville. The cottage is just the cutest and so many wonderful additional touches left by the owners that you really felt taken care of. The place is so close to downtown yet on a quiet street, we never used our car and would just walk or bike to where we were going. I couldn’t recommend this place anymore and we are planning on coming back in the spring!

Perfect in EVERY way!

Mockingbird Cottage was adorable! We did not want for ANYTHING! It was a perfect location to ditch the car and enjoy a small town feeling for a weekend. I felt like we were in a Hallmark movie. We can’t wait to come back!

My wife and I invested in downtown in 2012 as we began our LLC Downtown Bentonviille Cottages. We established our rental business when there were only a few rental options in the area. Since that time we changed our business model on the existing rentals, and have now opened this new little cottage. We understand what you want when you travel and plan ahead of needs. We didn't just open a room or house for rent, but have been in the business and learned over time what guests need. You will enjoy this little place, it's very special.

Unique 100+ year old renovation. You will feel this place is special from the minute you walk in. Great neighborhood, great location to everything, and a comfortable space to enjoy home away from home.

What makes this property unique

As our guest you can walk directly East in side streets and in three small town blocks you are at the entrance of Compton Gardens. Head south three blocks and you are at a Walmart for groceries and the downtown square. Enjoy walking to Farmer's Market on Saturday mornings and now Wednesday evenings. All of downtown restaurants are also in walking distance to the Little House.
