BRAND NEW! One of a kind, the first and only at Hicks Airfield. The Hangar Lodge is a unique space created with aviation enthusiasts in mind located at Hicks Airfield (T67). This aircraft hangar has been transformed into a one-of-a-kind lodging destination for enthusiasts, pilots and travelers. With cottage styling and retro flair, this 2 bed, 2.5 bath lodge is sure to impress. We take pride in our space and have outfitted the lodge with custom furnishings and comfortable linens.

The Space: PLAN YOUR NEXT EVENT IN OUR AIR-CONDITIONED SPACE THAT WILL MAKE YOU FEEL COMFORTABLE IN EVERY SEASON! We are able to accommodate special events and parties for a separate fee-please inquire directly with Barbie for more information.

The Neighborhood: The Hangar Lodge is located at Hicks Airfield (T67) in Ft. Worth, TX. We are located 14 miles NW of downtown Ft. Worth.

Lighted Runway 14/32 is 3740 ft, long and 60 ft wide. Asphalt in good condition. Automated 100LL is available on-site.

Other Things To Note: Hangar parking space can accommodate most airplanes. The hangar is 45x50, inquire for specifics.

**However, you do not need to be a pilot to stay at The Hangar Lodge**

Fabulous venue and hostess

Barbie is a phenomenal hostess. She went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. She brought puzzles for my daughter and bought juices and milk for our family. All supplies were plentiful. It was the most restful sleep that I have had in a while. Additionally, she booked a flight for us with a flight instructor and made our whole month! What an awesome stay!!!

We loved our stay at The Hangar Lodge! We arrived late and Barbie was very flexible and understanding. The hangar is set up perfectly, comfortable, and nicely decorated. All the essentials are provided along with high quality appointments. We would have loved to have stayed longer!

Having grown up around aviation and learning how to fly myself, gave me the inspiration to build an aviation themed B&B property at an airport I already operate. Yes, some may think it's a little quirky being inside a hangar, but once you enter the hangar, you'll be truly enamored, guaranteed.

Why they chose this property

We purchased this additional property because we already own the hangar next door and have owned the airport operations at Hicks Airfield for over 26 years. It only made sense to me to transform this property into a unique bed and breakfast since we receive so many inquiries from pilots flying into Hicks Airfield looking for a place to hangar their airplane while conducting business in the area. Perfect I thought, not only give them a place for their plane, but a place for them to stay as well.

I love that our property provides a compact yet spacious living space on a small airfield. This hangar has been transformed into a one-of-a-kind lodging destination for enthusiasts, pilots and travelers sure to please.
