THE BEACH IS WIDE OPEN!! 2022 is in the rear view mirror and its time to get back to NORMAL. We just had a facelift - new paint and laminate flooring. Come stay awhile and enjoy the sandy white beaches and clear waters of Panama City Beach! Relax in this cozy 1 bedroom, 1.5 bath condo on the second floor of Horizon South on the west side of Panama City. Whether its for a long weekend , a week-long vacation or if you want to stay a few months, you'll have lots to do on-site, across the street at the beach, or a short walk down to Pier Park. This lovely condo sleeps up to 6 people - great for couples or a small family. Enjoy the master bedroom featuring a king size bed (and brand new mattress 12/30/21) with master bath/shower combination. Bunk beds for the little ones are just in the hallway, plus a queen pull out sofa in the den. Enjoy eating in, in the updated kitchen with new cabinets, granite counter tops, tile backsplash, microwave , stove/oven, full size refrigerator and dishwasher. Laminate vinyl plank and tile throughout. Stay in and watch TV , play games, go on-line, or get outside and enjoy the grounds of Horizon South. Amenities include 4 swimming pools, hot tub, workout facilities, game room, tennis court, shuffle board, playground for the kiddos, basketball court and mini golf OR walk across the street and enjoy the white sandy beach. Pier Park shops and restaurants are a short drive/walk away and the airport and 30A are all close by. Come stay awhile with us in beautiful Panama City Beach, FL.
No pets. No smoking. A 2-night minimum stay is required. Condo is rented with a nightly rate or monthly rate (rates change with the seasons) and comes fully furnished - all you need is your beach chair and float. All renters must abide by Horizon South rules. Must be 25 to rent. If by chance you are asked to leave the property by Horizon South property management, your stay and money will be forfeited. See cancellation policy. There is no elevator - stair access only. Condo is located on second floor in building 55. Please see pictures of the condo and Horizon South amenities. If you are interested in a long term rental, please reach out to the owner. Also if you need to split the payments into 2-3 payments, please reach out and we will work with you. Armbands are now tear-away bands and are required to access all the amenities on the property and must be purchased at the Horizon South office. They are $20 each and are good for your entire stay. Kids 5 and under do not require an armband. Parking passes are now $25 per vehicle and are valid for 10 days. Parking passes must be on your dashboard. For trailers or over-sized vehicles they charge $40. They will tow your car, so please get a parking pass. Email or call with any questions. We look forward to you staying with us!!
FYI - If you are interested in a 2 bedroom/2 bath ground floor unit with no parking fees/armband fees and the pool right outside the door, we have another unit about a mile down the road at Peachtree Place II. Its a smaller complex across the street from the beach across from Splash Condos next to Alvin's Island. Please look it up - only sleeps 4 ppl (king and queen bed). Property Id # 2847756

Amazing location

We had a blast staying at this condo, everything was clean and well managed. If I had a question, Kim was very quick to respond or offer help. We loved the location and the easy access to the beach. The resort was nice and we really enjoyed that the condo overlooked the pool so we could keep an eye on the kiddos if they were down there with their grandma!

Quick change in Summer vacation plans

We were in a situation where we had to change our Summer vacation plans practically last minute. I was very happy to be able to reserve this location on such short notice. The price was great for the accomodations and location. Comfortable unit with very nice pool below. Very convenient to nearby Pier Park, lots of restaurants, shopping, beach access across the street from complex. We even explored over to Grayton Beach State Park and inland to other State parks. We were looking for a centrally located "home base" and this unit definitely worked out. We had a great time.

Our stay was amazing about 5 mins from the beach and it was super peaceful, Kim was amazing with answering all the questions one thing I will say is you do need to get the bracelets to use the amenities because the security guards drop by the pools and amenities to check and make sure you get you’re parking pass or they will leave you a note on the vehicle overall we will be back to this beautiful place

Nice getaway

The condo was nice and made due for what we needed. The only issues we had were the curtains in the main bedroom are very sheer so a lot of light came in at night so we had to put blankets over the window to black them out. Also the main bedroom does not get any air conditioning. There is a ceiling fan and 2 standing fans to help with that but the room being cooler would have helped us sleep better. Other than that we would consider staying here again in the future.

The condo is in great shape. The master bed is somewhat weird, as you feel like you’re sleeping on a decline. We just slept at the opposite end of the bed. We didn’t buy the bracelets as we were only there for a day and a half, and our time was spent at another property with friends who didn’t have to pay for bracelets to be there. Honestly, the whole “pay for bracelets to be on property” is a scam, and will deter me from staying at this property, or similar, in the future. As the bracelet policy is more of a condo association, and not that if the owner or property manager, I’ve not considered this in the rating of the property, which I felt was better than expected.

Year number two just as awesome!

This was mine and my spouse 2nd year staying and as always, as great as the 1st year. Property was clean. Could walk to the beach. Security. And plenty of extras on site ie tennis , swimming pools , tennis courts, and gym. I recommend to absolutely anybody to include a family. It sleeps up to 6. Very minimal complaints but also a part of it, the neighbors upstairs was in fact a herd of elephants. It was constant back and forth but kids , right? The drains ran a little slower draining this time but again maintenance and stuff happens. Speaking with the property manager has always been a breeze. She has even worked with me on rescheduling after a family emergency came up. We will be back next year. Definitely are only chosen spot to stay!

Needs a good cleaning

This property has a great location but It needs a good cleaning. There was so much dust stuck to the ceiling fans that it was flying off when the fans are turned on. Dust and cob webs behind the bedroom television. Part of the vertical blinds missing in the bedroom so you get awakened by the early morning sun. During my stay I never could find the remote for the master bedroom TV. I really don’t understand how Kim can be a premier host with such a DIRTY place. During time of Covid the host should be taking extra precautions of making sure there place is clean and ready for renters. You can tell this place with the amount of dust hasn’t been cleaned since before Covid. Stay away if you have allergies.

Absolutely loved the condo. Was clean. Spacious. Everything we needed inside to include towels, dishes, soaps, beach chairs , to having access to pools, fitness center, 10 min tops from everything, and could walk to the beach with out having to fight parking. I will be booking again next year for a week long instead of a weekend. The host messaged me back within minutes with answers to my questions, even though I over read them (which is my own fault) but she was kind, helpful, and courteous. I highly recommend! Will be booking again. Thank you so much for the peaceful getaway!

Beach trip for baseball

Our baseball team rented multiple units in Horizon South while we were in town for a baseball tournament. The location to the park and other establishments was perfect. The complex offered a lot of amenities to entertain everyone in our downtime. The unit was clean and very conveniently located to the pool!! The walk to the beach was not difficult (just right across the street). We had all we needed for a week long stay. The owner was also very responsive and thorough in all communication. We would definitely reach out to stay in this unit again.

Growing up in south Georgia, Panama City is pretty much the only beach I've ever known. My mom and I have enjoyed coming down to Panama City Beach our entire lives. Nothing beats the white sand and clear waters of the Gulf of Mexico. It seems like all your cares and worries just disappear as soon as you hit that Bay County line. The wind at your back, the sand in your toes and the waves and sun rays dancing on your skin. And when she asked me if I'd like to go in and buy a condo at the beach with her - I jumped! So our gain is your gain (at least for a little while...LOL) We hope you love the beach as much as we do. Come down and stay awhile. We hope you have a great time!
