Just What We Needed

Great House and Accommodations

Can’t say enough about this house, the property owner, and the property managers. Best VRBO we’ve stayed in. It’s immaculate, stocked, convenient to everything, and just a beautiful property. Relaxing and private

We enjoyed our time at James’ rental. Everything was very efficient and easy. The home was lovely and had everything we could’ve needed. We spent most of our time in the beautiful, private yard and loved the pool and hot tub. We would definitely recommend this rental for anyone wanting a quiet, relaxing vacation home

Great place for a family vacation

The house and pool were perfect for our family vacation. My husband and I used the master bedroom that was near the entrance which was perfect to give us a little separation from our adult children and grandchildren that used the other three bedrooms. The pool was wonderful and provided a lot of fun for all. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. The BBQ was great, and outdoor seating was comfortable. We will be coming back!!

Fantastic!!

We had the best time at this house! The pool and hot tub were perfect. Lots of space for all 8 of us the spread out. A special treat to be able to gather the fresh lemons from the tree in the yard. Darryl was great - right from the first email, he was so helpful. We will definitely be coming back.

Pinch me, was I dreaming?!

This was a family vacation to find sun, pool and relaxation! We truly had the very best time at this home. The hosts were fabulous, the kitchen was fully stocked, lots of pool towels, space to spread out, fun bikes in a great location (less then 3 min drive to the grocery store). At night, we would sit in the hot tub and stare at the stars, in awe of the beautiful palm trees. We will return to this home, it really is special. Oh, and we frequent a lot of vacation properties, you just gotta stay here! Enjoy!

A great home for a family vacation

We had a wonderful time at this vacation property. We had our young grandchildren along and felt very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and appreciated since we stayed in for most of our meals. There were plenty of towels and pool toys provided for our use. The property managers were friendly and greeted us at the home to give us an orientation. They responded quickly to any inquiries that we had. The house is in a quiet neighborhood. A nice time had by all! We look forward to our next stay at Casa Escoba!

Goldilocks Stay

Casa Escoba was just right our two families. House layout allowed for our families to be comfortable, never crowded especially with two master suites. Backyard was a playground for kids, parents too. All the decor & details are there, only items we needed were grocery runs and with a super central location, those were quick convenient trips as well. We even took the bikes out exploring. Communication was seamless, kept us super informed pre and post trip & we loved our welcome walkthrough upon our arrival. Again, nailing all the details! No more researching Palm Spring listings for our next visit, we'll definitely be back!

Beautiful home in a perfect location

The Westwind is the perfect getaway in an ideal Palm Springs location. Located in a quiet area of the city (but still close enough to shopping/dining/night life), the house comfortably slept my group of 8 with enough space so no one felt cramped or crowded. Darryl left specific instructions to make navigating his beautiful home incredibly easy, and the ample supply of dining utensils/kitchen appliances/linens made this truly feel like a home away from home. He was incredibly easy to work with, quick to respond via email, and accommodating to this group of young people looking to enjoy a holiday weekend (a rental proposition that I'm sure gives many home owners pause for concern). I would return to this home in a heartbeat, and will certainly be reaching out to Darryl next time I have the opportunity to take a trip to the desert.

Everything and more

From the onset, we had a special request that was accommodated by the owner and managers which made for a great first impression. This home, and I think I speak for the other three guests when I say home, because you could easily stay here for months and want for nothing. It is very thoughtfully and comfortably decorated, and we even did an “art walk” within the house to see the many art pieces. It’s so well equipped with appliances, that eating in is easy. This is a most spacious house and is perfect for two couples as the two masters are at opposite ends of the house and for four of us gals we were spread out in the four bedrooms. The outside is just as spacious with a generous pool, sunning area with a lovely view of the mountains. Proximity to the airport was great for picking up and dropping off. Cannot find one single fault with this house, they have literally thought of everything

Perfection!

My family had a fantastic three weeks at Casa Escoba in Feb/March. This is the first time I've stayed at a property that is better in person than in the photos. Casa Escoba is the kind of property that makes you feel pampered and at home at the same time. The house is newly remodeled and has a wonderful open flow with comfortable and tasteful furnishings and high end finishes. The pool and outdoor living space is amazing with a mountain view, plenty of seating areas for enjoying pool time, meal time, family time or nap time. There's a chest full of pool floats, noodles and toys, plenty of pool towels and even terry cloth lounge covers. The yard has a lovely stand of palm trees which provide some nice shade on the hotter days. We had three generations staying at Casa Escoba including my 80-something parents who have some mobility issues and the property worked great for them. The property managers were so kind and helpful and really made us feel welcome. I could go on and on about the well-stocked kitchen, the bikes, the quiet neighborhood, the comfy mattresses and bed linens, the grapefruit tree, and the convenient location but I guess the best endorsement I can give is that I booked for next year while we were still there.

Excellent property, well-organized and supported for our family spring break visit. Pool and amenities all well-maintained with every aspect of the stay covered (from DirectTV to pool temp to towels and kitchen appliances). Extremely responsive throughout and the house was very clean. Highly recommend.

Casa Escoba has everything you would want in a Palm Springs house (and more). From the amazing backyard, pool and spa, to the well stocked kitchen, the beautifully decorated living areas, to the delightful property managers Randy and Byron and owner James. A house that we hope to return to soon.

The location was perfect. It's not the closest to town for walking but that's why we picked it. It was in a nice quiet neighborhood. The house had the right amount of furniture and well done. We would absolutely stay again!

The house was well stocked and loved the layout! The pictures are accurate. We had a mini-family reunion for five days over the Thanksgiving weekend. Communication was exceptional— one minor issue with the pool was quickly addressed (the night BEFORE Thanksgiving! Amazing!!) Highly recommend without reservation!

Desert Tranquility

We are parents travelling with our adult children. This lovely property was perfect for our family reunion. It was spotless, comfortable and well-appointed. The garden and pool area was absolutely beautiful with a view of the mountains. A special bonus was a nesting duck that had taken up residence! James and Byron could not have been more attentive hosts and were immediately available to answer every question or request. They met us at the property for a walk-through which was helpful and kind. There was also a comprehensive binder of useful information on the property as well as recommendations for restaurants and activities. The property is in a quiet area too far from the downtown to walk to the shops and restaurants which was not a problem for us but good to know when booking. We would definitely return.

Desert Oasis with Great Views

The house was perfect for a special getaway with friends. The space was exactly as pictured and, more importantly, very clean and well-equipped. The backyard served our needs perfectly, with a pool, hot tub, fire pit, and grill. But, the showcase was the amazing views of the mountains framed by palm trees. Truly picturesque! Having a garage was very nice to keep the car cool in the desert heat. Also the host and property managers were responsive and friendly. Highly recommend.
