May 26, 2022. The steamboat ski area is torn up at the base area. There is a fence around the entire base area. The view isn't so pretty right now from this unit. Ski Corp is installing another gondola along with other improvements. The mountain coaster & mini golf area has been removed. This unit has central A/C so you don't have to have your doors or windows open which is a blessing. The construction is during the day. The view above the construction area has not changed. All amenities at the Sheraton are open.
