Come stay at "The Lodge". This home was recently renovated and themed after a Safari Lodge. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms along with a covered patio and a private screened in pool. The home sits on over an acre and has a private firepit area and a sitting area overlooking the fenced in back yard. There is a ping pong table and several bikes that can be used for the nearby bike trails or to ride downtown. The property sits near a city park, dog park and walking trails. There are lake views from the pool deck. The property has ample parking for RVs, boats or several cars.

Excellent location, quiet. Screened in pool was our all day retreat!! Very clean and well appointed home with super comfortable beds, plenty of space for 7 ladies on a girls trip. Uber was quick and convenient to the walkable Mount Dora historic area. From the historic area we ate at great restaurants, visited several fun taverns, and watched the beautiful sunset! Host was very responsive and helpful with great local recommendations. We spent one day tubing at Rock Springs, Kelly State Park - only 20-30 minutes away and easy to get to. We didn't use the bikes, but it was nice to have them as it wasn't very far to town and would be a nice ride if it wasn't record heat temps outside. Honestly, nothing negative to say at all. Exceeded expectations.

The house was in a good location, quiet area. Lovely Pool and the outdoor space was nice.Half the yard was pet friendly, the other half was not fenced. The ice maker leaves a lot to be desired, so we had to buy extra ice, no big deal all refrigerators are different. The host was attentive to messages and answered questions in a timely manner.Mt. Dora was a unique town with lots of festivities and sites to see. Really enjoyed exploring and found a great place for lunch on Lake Harris. Called the Lake Harris Hideaway! Live music and boat access.

Great Place to Stay

We rented the house for 25 days. We liked the location and had a blast getting to know the Lake County area. Steve and Amy were super responsive and wonderful to work with. I highly recommend staying here.
