Stugan har fÄtt namnet Stenkastet pÄ grund av att den ligger i en naturskön omgivning med perfekt balans av nÀrhet till, samt avstÄnd frÄn, Visby stad.

Stugan Àr utrustad med TV med fria kanaler samt Internetanslutning via kabel eller trÄdlöst. Stugan har egen veranda med utemöbler och kolgrill.

Parkeringsplats ingÄr i anslutning till stugan och det gÄr sÀkra och direkta gÄng- och cykelvÀgar in till Visby stad. Det Àr ca 3 km till Visby centrum.

200 meters promenad genom skogen kommer man till naturreservatet Bergbetningen med ett flertal vandringsstigar i lummig naturmiljö med uppfriskande havsutsikt. Söker man bad finns det sandstrand ca 1 km promenad frÄn Stugan.

Som gÀst ansvarar man för att lÀmna stugan stÀdad i samma skick som vid ankomst. Möjlighet finns att bestÀlla till slutstÀdning om man t ex behöver lÀmna tidigt och inte hinner med en stÀdning.

Fantastic cosy stay ....

We enjoyed our week in this cosy cottage very much. The cottage is very clean, comfortable and equipped with everything The area is close to Visby and also the airport and all other routes. The check-in with the owner was very friendly and easy. We say thank you.

One week in Visby

We spent 6 lovely nights near Visby. The cabin was very nice, we had perfect weather and enjoyed the time on the terrace. We walked downtown every day to do something. The owner's family was very welcoming. We would like to come back.

A very comfortable cottage. The owner's are very friendly. We had a wonderful 2 week stay this summer, and loved every minute of it, much thanks to this cosy little cottage that had everything we needed. Close to Visby (we had a car), and the wall. Biking distance if you prefer that. If we return, We will definitely stay here again.

A wonderful summer visit to Visby on Gotland.

My wife and I spent 10 days in the latter half of June, 2018 at this property. We had a wonderful time. The weather was absolutely great allowing for breakfasts and dinners on the porch. The size of the house may seem small but we managed without any problems and cooked most meals but for lunches at the house. The location is great. It is situated on the main road easily leading both to the Southern tip of Gotland, and to the ferry for a visit to FÄrö north of Gotland. It was also easy to find both smaller and bigger supermarkets. We recommend that you have a car albeit public transportation is excellent all across Sweden. Parking inside the wall of Visby is difficult. We learned that the road by the sea ends passed Visby Hospital (Lasarett) where there is free parking with only a short walk to Visby proper inside the wall. We felt very safe picking up the car even late at night partially because it is daylight late in the evening and never fully dark at that time of the year. Walking to Visby is possible but it is treacherous at one point and quite far. The property is very close to the airport where you can rent a car but book in advance. The host and the hostess both speak excellent English and so do their two younger daughters. They all were very helpful and friendly. Of course it is an advantage if you speak Swedish but everybody from rural areas to the center of the Visby speak very good English. We liked our stay so much that we will be back someday. It is great value for the money.

Die HĂŒtte war sauber, die Vermieter freundlich und bemĂŒht und die Ausstattung okay. ABER:- Das Ferienhaus war nur eine alte HĂŒtte. Der Lack an Fenstern und TĂŒren blĂ€tterte ĂŒberall ab, die Tapeten waren an mehreren Stellen abgerissen, die Heizung viel im Schlafzimmer aus, die Gartenmöben befanden sich tw. in Auflösung. der Feuermelder weckte uns an einem Morgen ohne Feuer, Rauch oder Dampf.- Die Lage war auch nicht gut: Es gibt keinen Meerblick! Die HĂŒtte liegt zwischen einer vielbrfahrenen Zufahttstr. nach Visby und dem Flugplatz, sodass man stĂ€ndig mehr oder minder lauten VerkehrslĂ€rm hat. Das Meer ist nur ĂŒber die Straße auf kilometerlangen Umwegen erreichbar, sodass man eigentlich immer das Auto oder mind. ein Fahrrad braucht. Auch Visby ist ca. 3 -4 km entfernt. Daher: Nicht empfehlenswert!

Enkel stuga som passade fint för vĂ„r familj. Vi uppskattade att köket var ordentligt utrustat. DĂ€r fanns det mesta, inklusive kaffebryggare och brödrost. Även basala saker som kaffefilter, salt, peppar, diskmedel och nĂ„gra rullar toalettpapper fanns att tillgĂ„ i stugan. Barnen uppskattade den stora tomten med kaniner och studsmatta. Mycket trevligt vĂ€rdpar.

Genussvolle Ferien

Marcus hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen. Wir hatten einen guten Kontakt. Es war sehr nĂŒtzlich, dass wir auf dem Areal des Besitzers wohnten, so konnten wir uns bei Fragen direkt an ihn wenden. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das kleine Haus war einfach und praktisch und optimal gelegen.

Min första Gotlandssemester

Min första Gotlandssemester i livet kunde inte fÄ en bÀttre utgÄngspunkt. Jag bodde i stugan med mina 3 barn. Stugan ligger med perfekt avstÄnd till det vi önskade göra. Marcus och Jenny Àr supergenerösa med tips och förslag vilket jag Àr jÀttetacksam för. Vad gÀller stugan sÄ har den nÀstan allt man behöver. Det jag kan sakna Àr en utökad klÀdförvaring. Annars har jag inget att anmÀrka pÄ. Stor och fin tomt. Vi fick Àven möjlighet att bekanta oss med familjens husdjur och studsmatta som var vÀldigt vÀlkommet av familjens yngre medlemmar. Vi Àr supernöjda och Äterkommer mer Àn gÀrna igen.

Typische schwedische HĂŒtte

HĂŒbsche, sehr typische schwedische HĂŒtte mit guter Ausstattung und einer liebevollen Einrichtung fĂŒr die Generation 45+. Es ist alles da, was man braucht, Fernseher und KĂŒhlschrank sind groß (!) und der WLAN stabil. Wir waren ohne Auto (!) und hatten uns FahrrĂ€der geliehen, die die Entfernung zur Stadt gut ĂŒberwinden ließen. Zu Fuß ist die Strecke etwas lĂ€nger, zumal die Busverbindung nicht gut ist. Den Flughafen hört man kaum.

Das Ferienhaus in der NĂ€he von Visby war ideal fĂŒr Radtouren. Die Sonne meinte es 2 Wochen sehr gut. Die Gastgeber waren freundlich und verhielten sich zurĂŒckhaltend, waren aber fĂŒr nette GesprĂ€che und AuskĂŒnfte jederzeit bereit. Sie sprechen auch deutsch.

My name is Marcus and I live on the property where the cottage is located together with my wife and our two children. I was born and raised on Gotland and find the location quiet and calm with just enough to offer.

Why they chose this property

If you are exploring Gotland this property is a perfect place to have your base. It is located just outside the noise and happenings in Visby, but still close enough for a possible visit by foot, bike och taxi if one chooses.
The northern coast contains lots of beautiful places to walk, swim and eat.
The cottage itself offers possibilities to cook on your own or use the outdoor porch with its own barbecue.

What makes this property unique

The property is on the outer rim of Visby. It was a personal quest to find a house with a big garden and a walk-able distant to and from Visbys central parts. There are walking- and biking pavement that goes directly into Visby from the house. The location is close to Visby but at the same time surrounded by nature and fantastic trails.
