The entire estate features two separate casitas, Casita Grande (right) & Casa Casita (left). Each host beautiful kitchens with European style cabinetry, granite counters and stainless steel appliances. Each casita is fully stocked with cooking and dining ware including a Keurig brewer so you can have your morning coffee without having to leave the property. The tastefully furnished dining and living rooms epitomize the desert resort lifestyle reminiscent of earlier years. Creature comforts abound, from comfy throws to artsy coffee table books. Casita Grande even showcases a stunning hand-built rock and wood fireplace.

Each casita features a single, beautifully appointed bedroom with king size pillow top designer linens, furnishings and spacious mirrored wardrobes. Both casitas feature additional sleeping with living room couches equipped with queen sized pullouts.
As with the bedrooms, each casita hosts a beautiful bathroom reflective of original configuration with hardwood floors, pedestal sinks and stunning Mexican tiled bathing areas. Casa Casita features a benched 1 person shower while Casita Grande features a shower/tub combo. Each casita is stocked with quality towels, toiletries and hair dryers.
Casa Casitas Boutique Resort is home entertainment friendly. Each features dedicated Wi-Fi, Cable TV, 55” UHD flat screen, Apple TV, iPad and Bose Bluetooth sound systems. This may be Old Town La Quinta, but we draw the line when it comes to must have amenities!

Placing an equal emphasis on outdoor living and entertaining, each casita features a spacious patio with lighted covers, dining tables and stainless BBQ’s. Just out front of Casa Casita is a cozy fire pit with ample seating. The property has beautifully landscaped and privately fenced common grounds, a pool and spa, and even a small grass area for your furry friends, all shared between the two casitas.

The laundry is located inside the Casita Grande and boasts a large capacity washer, dryer and related supplies. An iron and ironing board are provided as well. In regards to parking, there is ample guest parking for 4 vehicles (2 covered, 2 uncovered).
For guests desiring fresh air activities, the Fred Wolff Bear Creek Nature Preserve is a short 2 minute drive or 15 minute walk. The majestic Santa Rosa Mountains are literally in the back yard. Children and adults alike enjoy exploring the natural beauty of the area.

Seeking activities that define the La Quinta experience? Old Town is a 5 minute drive, 10 minute bike ride or 20 minute walk, and is home to a number of boutique stores, restaurants and an exceptional coffeehouse. The world famous La Quinta Resort is a 10 minute drive. Its architecture, grounds, shopping, dining, spa and golf amenities and make it a “must do” experience.
Desiring even more shopping, dining and entertainment? El Paseo in Palm Desert is a mere 20 minute drive away.

Although this must have been the hottest week in La Quinta, we had a marvelous time at Casa Martinez. Full accommodations, very relaxed environment, fun and refreshing pool; it was a great place to rest and reset and enjoy the family. Thanks again - we had a wonderful time.

Another great stay at the casitas

We have stayed here once before and were happy to be back! They are dog friendly with plenty of grass and shaded areas, and the separate casitas gave everyone a little space and privacy. The pool/outdoor area is fantastic and the AC units do their job when it's time to come inside (important when it's over 100 outside). Looking forward to returning!

This 2 casita property was private and had lots of outdoor spaces. The pool and the hot tub were great and they even had bikes to ride around the neighborhood. The casitas were modern and the property managers/ owners were very responsive. We will stay here again!

I can’t say enough good things about our stay in casa Martinez. Jon made sure everything was spotless and seamless for this trip. The three of us and the dogs had the best time. I would definitely book again the next time we are in la Quinta. I would definitely recommend.

Adorable oasis for both fun and relaxation

We loved hanging out at the pool, letting our dog run his energy out and then retreating from the heat into the cozy and cool comfort of the casita. We truly enjoyed it. The owners thought of everything we might need during our stay. The bed, the pillows, the dishes...everything was thoughtfully chosen to add to the ambiance.

This is a lovely property that has just the right amount of historIc charm and modern amenities. Lovely grounds and pool area, and the two Casistas would be great for 2 couples or a large family. We had a little problem with the spa heater, but the owners and managers went above and beyond to fix right away! Would definitely rent again!

Relaxing Stay at This Quaint Property

Our foursome thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this charming pair of villas! The grounds are fairly sizable, offering room to spread out a bit and giving us decent privacy. Kitchens are well stocked and in good working order. Villas were very clean and had enough towels, soap, etc. Everyone slept well on the comfortable beds. Loads of great restaurants were within a short drive or bicycle ride. The heated pool and spa were the highlights of our overall amazing stay. We look forward to many relaxing returns!

Birthday Getaway

When searching for a property in the desert I looked for a nice pool (preferably heated) and dog friendly - this property fit the bill and then some! The kitchen is stocked with all the necessary items and the beds are comfy, but what we loved the most was the outdoor areas/yard and pool. We had a few glitches with the outdoor lighting but management was prompt to reply and remedy the situation. Looking forward to staying here again!

My family and our good friends (with their kids) found this place last year and loved it. We thought we'd try it again this Labor Day. We were NOT disappointed. Absolutely loved the grounds, and the privacy of the two casitas for two separate couples. Only complaint would be the very complicated pool and spa heating, which was meant to be on a schedule that we pre-paid for, but never actually worked. Still hoping I can receive a refund for that.

Great weekend family trip

Spent the weekend with my family and the property was perfect. With the 2 separate guest houses it worked great my parents had there own place to hang out, they did not have to worry about us waking them up because we had our own separate house. Each place was stocked full kitchens and family rooms, games, pool floats, separate bbq's. The whole property is surrounded and had an electric gate for total privacy. Best of all the owner Kim allowed us to bring our dog. We look forward to coming back again soon.

This property is absolutely beautiful and exactly as it seems in the description. It is completely private, easy to get to and check-in/out. There were plenty of blankets, towels, kitchen supplies, toilet paper, etc! The hosts are available, not that we needed anything. ;) My family had a wonderful time and will definitely be trying to get here again!!!

Classic Casitas are perfect for 2 couples or a big family get together.

TWO romantic, luxurious one-bedroom cottages on ONE property is an ideal solution for a couple of couples who want to spend time (but not too much time!) together. The kitchens are very nicely appointed and the casitas are stocked with lots of supplies, including lots of towels for the impossibly wonderful swimming pool and spa! See owner remarks about how many people the casitas can accommodate -- there's lots of room here! And the La Quinta Cove is the ideal central home base for a week or two's exploration of all the desert cities, Joshua Tree, and the surrounding mountains.

Felt like a private resort get away!

My girlfriend and I were looking for a private get away to celebrate her birthday with close friends out in Palm Dessert. We saw the amazing pictures of Casa de Martinez on the site and thought this would be the perfect place! As we approached the compound it blew us away how beautiful and stunning the place looked like in person! From the upgraded amenities, details inside and out, the amazing pool (We probably spent about 8 hours in it each day) to the private resort like feel...we all had the time of our lives! We loved this place so much we are already planning our next trip back! We highly recommend this dessert oasis to anyone looking for private get away with friends, family or your significant other.
