About this property
Apartment for 5 people close to the royal setting
Well-equipped, air-conditioned apartment, completely renovated, for a rich and relaxing holiday in the heart of the unique island. Ideal for 2 couples or 1 couple with children: 1 bedroom with large double bed, 1 other bedroom with 3 beds of 90 cm and 1 BZ sofa bed for 2 people in 140 cm.
For further information, you can contact me on my 06 at 12545277.
It consists of a very pleasant living room with its large sofa and an equipped US kitchen, a balcony on the street with sea view in the distance, port of Sète, a bathroom with bath and WC, 2 bedrooms and a terrace overlooking the courtyard. 10 m2, table and chairs for 5 people, cellar and plancha.
Located in the city center opposite the house of Georges Brassens, just behind the park of the Water Castle, it is ideally placed to take full advantage of all the riches of Sète (beaches 2.5 km away, halls of Sète, royal canal and restaurants 500 meters).
You will be able to stroll through the alleys of the historic Haut Quartier, fishermen's district and favorite place of Sétois artists, stroll by roller or by bike on the ledge and on the 12 km long sandy strip of the Lido between the Thau lake and the Mediterranean, visit the typical port of Pointe Courte and the marine cemetery, stroll along the quays between the Canal du Midi and the many fish restaurants from the commercial port to the auction and the Saint Louis pier.
Sète is so unique! a city, a port, an island, alive all year round, cosmopolitan, offering activities for all ages and all tastes, in a mild and relatively dry climate:
- nautical activities: sea trips, visit of canals, coves, caves and the Thau lake, water skiing, scuba diving, kite surfing, boat rental, jet ski, pedal boat, towed gear, sea kayaking , paddle, canoes
- beach games: beach volley, water polo, aqua gym, play areas for children
- cycling, hiking: national forest of Pierres Blanches, small paths of Mont Saint Clair, Sables vineyard of Domaine de Listel, visit to oyster beds, shellfish farmhouses
- culture: Sète has a strong cultural identity and offers numerous art galleries and museums (Espace Georges Brassens, Musée Paul Valéry, Musée International des Arts Modestes MIAM, Musée à Ciel Ouvert, ...)
- festivals: shows and festivals are organized throughout the year, notably at the Jean Vilar Sea Theater (MusicaSète in March - April, ImageSingulières, photography festival in May, Festival 'Quand je pense à Fernande', festival amateur theater and comics in June, Worldwide Festival, contemporary and electro music festival, Jazz in Sète and poetry festival in July, Fiest'A Sète in August, ...)
- festivals: the Great forgiveness of Saint Pierre, traditional fishermen's festival in memory of missing sailors, moving moment when the locals have the opportunity to accompany fishermen at sea in early July, Saint Louis and its famous jousting tournaments end of August, stopover in Sète every 2 years, gathering of sailboats for the Easter weekend
With culinary specialties largely inspired by the Italian origins of part of the population and by the products of the sea and the Thau lagoon that surround the city, Sète cuisine is enticing ...
