This is one of few rentals that felt like I was staying in someone’s home—a well appointed, beautiful and personal home. Nella and Leon were great, connected, and trusting hosts. Willistead Manor Park is a bonus for walking and people watching. Highly recommended.
Property exactly as described. Hosts thought of everything from amenities on property to local recommendations. Communication is great, parking was great, neighborhood is quiet, quaint and convenient. Nearby park is enjoyable as you easily walk to/from restaurants. Location was great for day trips in the area or local activities. Happy to have stayed and will definitely again.
It’s always a pleasure to return to this gorgeous rental. Great neighborhood, house is warm, wifi excellent, plus the level of comfort is perfect. Truly a home away from home
This was our second time staying at Adam's Place and the hosts have remained as cordial, responsive and professional as ever. The place is spotless, quiet and comfortably furnished. In the heart of treed and charming Walkerville. Our go to from now on when visiting Windsor. Thank you Leon and Nella.

The place was amazing! It was very comfortable and accommodating. Communication was very easy with the owner. If I ever came back, I would definitely stay here.
We were so comfortable in thisVRBO that it felt like home. The park across the street was close by for walks. It was quiet and fully stocked with anything one could need
We loved our time at this beautiful home in historic Walkerville! Everything was super clean and comfy. Very comfortable beds and a wonderful shower in the basement level. Enjoyed watching a few movies in the little theater room area. Walked to nearby restaurants and the neighborhood is so cute and quiet. Would definitely stay here again!
The rental property is immaculately maintained. The location is conveniently located, and we enjoyed the walkability to restaurants, pubs, and shopping. Very safe environment.
We were absolutely overwhelmed by this property. Well, appointed, spacious, and great location. Communications with the owner were quick and informative. Definitely worth a revisit the next time we visit Windsor
Home was very clean, loved the balcony & snacks/drinks left for us by the owner, beautifully restored, nice neighbourhood, very comfortable, loved the art work!Suggestions: leave more decaf coffee pods & some orange pekoe tea bags
We loved our stay in Windsor because this multi-level unit had so much character. Private entrance, parking, trinkets from the history of the area, cozy basement, nice washroom downstairs, comfortable beds, and mostly the tree covered patio overlooking the area. We read about the history of Hiram Walker and walked the mansion park across the street. The kitchen is fully stocked and living/dining area very nice.
Very beautifully maintained & restored early 1900’s home in a beautiful area. We stay at a lot of short term rentals when traveling, and this was one of the best we’ve ever stayed in. Very clean and organized, yet well appointed with all that we needed during our stay. Renters should note there are some steep, narrow stairs to get to the unit. We have already recommended this place to a friend next time they are in the area. Would not hesitate to return!
I expect to get what I pay for and in this case I got more than, this property was in real life just as it is described in the listing: spotless, fully equipped, awesome appointments, amenities and an awesome and responsive management team
I loved everything about this property it has everything you need and then more.
It’s truly stunning inside and out and finished to a very high standard, lots of interesting items in the home in keeping with style of home. The balcony is a bonus, fabulous.
Leon and Nella kept in touch ,left a very welcoming gift, not something you get in many places.
I would highly recommend Adam’s place ,see it for yourself it’s even more wonderful than the photos.
It’s in a wonderful historic area and the surrounding area is like nowhere I have stayed before and would love to return one day.

Rita was an ideal guest. Good communication, keep the place clean and adhered to the house rules. She appreciated all the little extras that Nella & I put into Adams Place Apartments, to help make our guests experience comfortable and interesting.
We would love to host Rita again.
Sincerely,

Adam's Place in Walkerville once again did not disappoint!
This is a favorite area in Windsor. The apartment is perfect for us and has every amenity. The Bieszk's are wonderful hosts and very responsive. We appreciate them renting out Adam's Place. It is a much better value than paying as much or more for a hotel room. It's an easy drive to wineries, shopping, restaurants and Detroit for the Jazz Festival - the tunnel takes you almost directly to Hart Plaza on the river which is where two of the 3 main stages are located. It's also a great location to bide ride and walk. Having Willistead Park directly across the street is super convenient. This was our second time staying at Adam's Place and we hope to return again.

It looks nice in the pictures to be sure but once you walk in and experience the ambiance of Adam's Apartments, you will know the pictures lie! It is just beautiful! An incredibly decorated apartment, stocked with anything you could ever want or need for a comfortable stay. Walking distance from a quaint little block filled with shops and restaurants and next to a beautiful, bustling park, you will find plenty to do nearby but it is a super easy drive to the casino and other activities. Might not be great if you have trouble with stairs and I don't think it is a great place for small children but as two adult couples, we were very happy with our stay. Thanks to Leon and Nella for being such great hosts!!

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay at Adams Place Apartments! A positive guest experience is a must, and glowing reviews such as yours keeps us motivated.
We highlight the fact that this apartment is an upper floor unit, and we will review the on-line description and see if can make improvements. Adams Place is ideal for one or two couples, however we have hosted many families with small children. We typically do a little 'child proofing' prior to there stay. On occasion we have also supplied crib and high chair.
Again, thank you for choosing Adams Place, we welcome your return.

As I’m enjoying the last warm evenings of the summer on my townhouse balcony, I take a peak at the walkerville manor’s domain. Reminiscing of the great history of this district. But it’s in these walls that a page of Windsor truly embodies itself. With a true Victorian style, this lodging is quite the tribute to the prohibition era and other turn of the century memorabilia. The pipes collection, authentic paintings, classic library and antique furniture transport any guest a century back. But for me, it was the vintage apothecary that got all my attention. As a collector, I find those medical rarities simply fascinating and also a bit eerie. In a certain way, bootleggers and pharmacists shared a passion for remedies.Thank you for such a wonderful stay. Hoping to return soon. How many owls did you count?François
The place was spotless with lots of books and historical items. The kitchen was stocked with three different coffee makers and an electric kettle. There were K-cups, tea bags, sugar, sugar substitute, pots, pans, lots of dishes and cups in the cupboards. The refrigerator was clean, and it contained cream for our coffee. The hosts provided a binder with maps and places to visit. The apartment is across from a beautiful park. If you are pretty fit, then you would be able to walk to many places to see and eat.The home has two TVs. None in the bedrooms...which I like. We were too busy to really watch them anyway. The balcony is ideal for early morning cups of coffee. The backyard is great for an early dinner. This place is wonderful to stay in, and the neighborhood is quiet and great to walk around.I wish I had photos to share because the place has an owl theme running through every room. (We were too busy enjoying our two weeks stay to take pictures/we were living in the moment)
