Please note, Hurricane Ike forever changed the footprint of Bolivar Peninsula, therefore some homes listed as beachfront may have a lot and/or street in front of it. This is the result of the uncertainty following the storm where some property owners elected to participate in the government buy out of lots that fell in what later would be considered within the vegetation line established by the State of Texas and subsequently included as part of the public beach. Not all property owners participated. Those homes where the property in front of it are part of the buyout are considered beachfront even though to the east or west of it there may be a home closer to the beach.

Adventure In Paradise

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My wife and I spend one week a month down at Crystal beach. We have stayed in several different homes and find this one to be at the top of our list. The access to the beach is steps away, the porch and swing are such a peaceful way to begin the day with a cup of coffee, the sun rises are breath taking, the home is well furnished, the kitchen is well equipped the streaming TV allows you to log-in and watch your own subscriptions and then logs you out automatically when you leave, The downstairs shower makes it easy to wash up when you come back from playing on the beach The staff at Cobb Real Estate are alway helpful if your need something in an emergency. We had an issue with the door lock and it was replaced and fixed in just a couple of hours. A real "Adventure in Paradise!

Spring On The Gulf of Mexico

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Marianne and I spend a lot of time down on Crystal Beach. Keepin' It Reel is probably one of the best places we have ever stayed. The location right on the beach makes early morning walks a pleasure, the sun rises are priceless and the home itself is very comfortable and will furnished with everything you could ever need. We like the location because it is closer to the Ferry than many places we have stayed and the trip to Galveston is alway a must. You are close to restaurants and other shopping right there in Crystal Beach. We especially like the streaming service and our ability to use our Fubo service and along with other streaming Apps we have. We call Keepin' It Reel our Happy Place. Spend a few days on the beach and soak up the beauty of God's Creation.

Another Stay In Our Happy Place

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Marianne and I have been coming down to Bolivar for the past five years and have stayed in many very nice places; but, Keeping It Reel has been our favorite place to stay since the Pink House was taken out of the rental pool. You are right on the beat, the sunrises are breath taking, the porch and porch swing are a wonderful place to sun and just take in the peaceful beach. The home is well furnished, the streaming TV makes it possible to use any apps you use at home, the beds are all comfortable and we love it! One real advantage for us it is closer to the Ferry and we often go to Galveston to shop and get some awesome seafood. Speaking of seafood, there are several wonderful places to eat in Crystal Beach. Then the icing on the cake is the profession al staff at Cobb Real Estate. Always there to help if you have questions or any issues. This is an outstanding rental for a family gathering or a place for seniors like us to stay.There is a great patio downstairs for cooking and grilling if that is what you like to do. You will love it if you stay. Enjoy!
