We enjoyed every bit of our stay. The house was nice, clean, and cozy and we loved how big the yard is. The location of the house was awesome too. Sitting right on the corner of the street with a great big open view of the ocean. Access to the beach is just feet away which was also a big plus for us. Lastly, Jaclyn(owner) was so helpful and easy to contact whenever we needed to communicate. We definitely will be keeping the Lone Palm at the top of our list of vacation homes.

This place was perfect!!

My family enjoyed staying here, the house was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with anything you may need. You can walk to the beach and back quickly and watching the waves from the comfort of the bed was my favorite part.We would stay again and again.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay! Beautiful house, stunning views of the ocean and sunrise! We could tell the host put a lot of thought and consideration in the guests stay. Everything we needed was provided. Overall, a great beach rental with super respondent host.

Beautiful home & location

Everything was just as described. We enjoyed sitting on the huge deck watching the waves or strolling down to the beach. Very clean & comfortable with so many thoughtful touches throughout. There is also a huge lawn area!

Great Beach Get-Away!!

Our stay was fantastic. The house was just as it as it was pictured on the website. Very clean and it had all the household amenities we could ask for. We has easy access and beautiful views of the beach. The check in information was given to us well in advance and had multiple contact people and numbers if we needed anything. Everything went smoothly during our stay.

Exceeded expectations

Tammy and Jaclyn have thought of everything. This is the first time we have stayed at a house claiming it was fully stocked and it was truly fully stocked. The location was great for sunrises and easy beach access. Kitchen had everything we needed for cooking family meals. We definitely recommend this property.

Everything better than as billed

Just a great place, everything you could want for a beach weekend. Sunrise is unparalleled off the front porch deck. And the view and sounds of the Gulf will just lull you to relaxation. Jaclyn was a pleasure to work with, great communication from beginning to end! Rent this house!

This property has everything from the perfect view to accessibility to the beach and all the amenities a family could ever ask for. The owners are amazing and extremely willing to help if needed. NEED MORE STARS for this Review

You will be hard pressed to find a rental property that compares on the Bolivar Peninsula. We owned 2 beach properties that ended up in East Galveston Bay thanks to IKE. We have rented many beach properties since 2008. Communications with Captain Dan made us feel right at home before we arrived. Nice surprise of our favorite tunes were playing on downstairs speakers as we parked. The Lone Palm Resort ABSOLUTELY exceeds ALL expectations. WE SHALL RETURN.

Rainy Spring Break

The house was beautiful even though the weather was not! Everything was super clean. Color coordinationg dishes and cookware were adorable and well stocked. Video games, board games, cards, magazines, books- plenty to keep everyone entertained since we were stuck inside all week. The house is completely tricked out with electronics. Maybe if we had stayed abother week, we could have figured it all out! Grocery store near by was adequate. The liquor store had an unbelievable wine selection. Thirty yard walk to a lovely stretch of clean beach. Would definitely rent again.

Great place!

Dan has a amazing house, I was first impressed when we got out of the truck to start unloading that he had already had everything turned on and Jimmy Buffet playing on the speakers outside, I could tell right away it was going to be a great weekend! The house was laid out great and the up stairs master was a very secluded area form the rest of the house, which was nice for me and my wife after a long day on the beach. All the guest down stairs had plenty of room and never heard of any issues. I would recommend this house to any of my friends and family, we will definitely be back!! The only thing I would recommend is something for the grass to kill the stickers. But hey we all live them right? Enjoyed it and thanks again Dan

Immaculate and amazing!

This property is simply amazing! All the switches are labeled throughout the house, which makes everything so much easier to navigate. The kitchen is well stocked and huge. The master bedroom and bathroom are luxurious. The guest bedrooms are also amazing. We lost power numerous times throughout our short stay and the generator worked like a dream. I almost felt guilty having AC, fridge, washer/dryer and lights while everyone around us was without power. We sat on the massive deck every night, listening to the surround sound speaker system and watching the world go by. Beach access is right in front of the house. I have rented numerous houses on the Peninsula. This is, by far, the nicest, most well-appointed house I've ever stayed in. Go ahead and book it! You will not be disappointed. The owner responds to calls and texts immediately, answering any and all questions. Reserve now!

This is a beautiful house walking distance to the beach. It is well stocked with everything we needed. We loved having 2 king size beds, 4 adults appreciated the space. Very kid friendly with games, DVD, books and so forth. We had one of our best vacations ever!

This property is all that it says it is and more, beautiful, comfortable a few steps from the beach. Top master bedroom balcony has an amazing view and perfect for relaxing and watching family enjoy the beach. Everyone was very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful home with easy beach access

The home is beautiful, offering a family space as well as a private upstairs bedroom and balcony. The owner was very responsive with the few needs we had, and our dogs loved the yard. Beach access was literally in front of the home, and the balcony has a spectacular view of the ocean and stars at night. We will definitely look to stay here again.
