EYE OF THE STORM at Seaside Beach - Watch the surfers from your living room window in this spacious townhouse. Accommodating 10 guests with parking for 3 vehicles, this property is located in the south part of Seaside known as the Cove across the street from Oregon’s most popular surfing spot and just a easy mile stroll or bike ride to downtown. The home was built in 2004 and offers 3300 square feet of luxurious living with panoramic white water ocean surf views. It is on three levels with bedrooms on each level. The first floor has a large bedroom with a king bed and a full futon bed along with a TV and bathroom/laundry room. Located on the main level is an open living room with plasma TV, surround sound, gourmet chef’s kitchen and dining area. There is also an office/ bedroom on this floor with a Twin Trundle as well as a full bath. The top floor has three bedrooms and two more bathrooms. The master bedroom faces the ocean and is furnished with a king bed with a TV and features a jetted tub in the bath. The other two bedrooms offer views of the ocean and golf course and each has a queen bed. There is a two car garage and three separate decks for enjoying the view. Keep in mind the additional cleaning charge ensures that your house will be spotless upon arrival and that you will not be asked to spend more than 5 min on the check out procedure.

This house had everything we needed and it was beautiful , too!
This is the second time we have stayed here with our children and their families and we would definitely stay here again. It’s close to the water which is important to us.
Overall, this was a quality setup!! The location and sunsets cannot beat!! The hosts and their communication were above par. We will definitely be booking here again.
I would highly recommend this beach house very beautiful very clean. Amazing for family to enjoy time together plenty of stuff to do they have games for the whole family. Out of all the beach houses I have stayed in this one has been the best experience and the most Beautifullest home.

House could use some updates but overall its clean and functional. The host let us check in early which was appreciated. The house is in a great location with easy access to the beach. The room by room inspection sheet / walkthrough requirement with additional guest liability paperwork was unexpected. We rent from VRBO often and we have never been asked to do that before.

Not Toddler friendly;
Check in process was different than what we were told. Checking the house with a clipboard is time consuming; and for what point if you aren't going to go over it with the guest. Fabulous location but kitchen needs so very basic items when you are able to stay 10 people there should be enough silverware and other basic utensils so as not to have to run dishwasher after every meal. TV's very difficult to figure out to watch a netflix or hulu movie. Tv's in bedrooms (except master) did not work at all on the cable. Kitchen knives are so dull they are useless. There is only 1 large fry pan and 1 large stock pot and too many small sauce pans. No cheese grater. Kitchen sink difficult to turn off so runs unless you get it just right. Freezer leaked water on the floor late one night. If we hadn't been up playing a game; we would have woken up to water everywhere on the floor. No outside garbage can (due to new owner). I'd like to say we would go back; but I'd like a guarantee that things have been upgraded. For the money we paid the house was adequate; beds comfortable. But a wad of hair the size of a mouse on the bathroom floor is unacceptable. All the floors were gritty feeling under shoes on our arrival. The kitchen trash can needs to be replaced. The step on pedal doesn't work at all. Please code the garage for ease in and out of garage and not having some one have to close the garage door and then come out through the front.

Thank you Shaunda, for your review. We are sorry that the house was not up to your expectation. You are right we should have gone over your sheet with you, we would have been more than happy to bring over more pots and pans as well as silverware. We will get those items taken care of for future guest. We will also look into the cable issues. Getting a garage door code we can look into, but we just are looking out for the safety of guest, so we would have to be able to change the garage door code after every guest, it's not the same as our door e-locks. New trash bins have been order from the City. I am sorry we missed the hair in the bathroom, we don't know how it was missed unless it was caught under the door, we do apologize. Since we don't stay in the homes the feedback for our guest is very important to us. We hope you will visit the area again.
