Welcome to the Pear Tree Cottage! Booking Fall and Winter with our new lower rates and fees!

Our charming, open-concept vacation home is the perfect choice for business travelers, couples and small families and more. Over 1200 square feet that includes two bedrooms, two baths, we are the perfect size and perfectly equipped for your getaway, retreat, team building or romantic get away, and offer the best alternative to a Hotel/Motel in the area.

We are conveniently located just minutes to Grand Haven and their award winning beaches.

In the home you will find:

• Two super comfortable bedrooms with luxury linens
• A fully stocked kitchen
• Two full bathrooms (one bath off the Master Bedroom)
• Gas fireplace
• Bright, open living room with 50" Smart TV
• Whole-house WiFi
• Screened in front porch
• Super cool loft space for reading or napping!
• Full-sized washer and dryer

Outside the home you will enjoy our multi-level deck complete a gas grill, covered bar area, and dinette table and chairs. The shaded, fenced in back yard is a great place to relax during the day, and at night enjoy cooking smores or conversation around our fire pit.

The home is located in historic Strawberry Pointe area of Spring Lake, Michigan. The area is littered with these small cabins that once served as hunting and fishing vacation homes in the 30 s, 40 s and 50 s. We are walking distance to the Spring Lake public beach, the expansive bike trails of the area and to the Village Baker (a must visit for great baked goods, fantastic brunch and dinners, as well as a great cup of coffee!!)

Its a breeze to get to Grand Haven - only a five minute car ride. We are a 35 minute drive to downtown Grand Rapids and a 15 minute drive to Muskegon and Hoffmaster State Park. The area bike paths are 200 yards away, the Spring Lake beach is 1 block away. We are also a short walk to Spring Lake s Central Park, where you will find an expansive playground as well as tennis, basketball and volleyball courts.

GETTING AROUND:
Its a breeze to get to Grand Haven - only a five minute car ride. We are a 35 minute drive to Downtown Grand Rapids, 15 minute drive to Muskegon.

Amazing place. Great location. So very comfortable for the two of us visiting for 4 days. Underpriced for the quality. I couldn’t have stayed at Holiday Inn for this! And we had two full bedrooms and bathrooms. Fireplace. Even made dinner one night at the house.

Cute and cozy place. Perfect for a quick girls weekend away. Close to so many things. We were also able to go for a walk which was beautiful by the lake. Beds were comfortable. Towels were soft. Had some nice touches like a make up remover cloth. Thank you for a really nice stay.

Beautiful place and great location! The bed sheets are the softest sheets I’ve ever slept on. Very kind and responsive host too! The only (very minimal) issues were the shower/tub drain was clogged, it wasn’t clear how to use the TV (meaning we were locked out of certain channels, like a parental block) and the gas fire place has a loud motor of sorts that runs when it’s on. These are all VERY minor issues. I would recommend this spot and host!

Only caution is that the toilets are kind of low for older folks and those with physical challenges. We really enjoyed walking and biking on the nearby trail and the nearby lake views. Nice town too.

Overall our stay was very enjoyable. We enjoyed the cute house and great location near both restaurants and the lake. We spent time sitting on the cute porch as well. Loved the keypad entry. We didn’t have wood or we’d have used the fire pit. Thanks for a pleasant stay.
