Come Experience SkiTopia-True Ski In/Out Condo Steps from the SilverQueen Lift

SkiTopia is a mountain lovers dream location, right at the base of beautiful Mt. Crested Butte. You can’t get any closer to the lifts and fun at the base with the Axtell Building location. Evolution Bike Park is literally steps away and the hiking trails are plentiful and easy to access. This condo is freshly remodeled and ready for some fun. Spend your day enjoying the area and town, and enjoy drinks on the huge deck overlooking the mountain vistas and the town. Take advantage of never having to drive with easy access to the free town shuttle running every 15 minutes during the summer and winter season.

Crested Butte has a myriad of outdoor adventures, as well as plenty of quirky and interesting shopping and gourmet options. The last great ski town in Colorado!
Winter and summer activities are plentiful. Summertime brings the most amazing wildflowers in the state and numerous arts and music events. Mountain biking is epic with numerous trails available for all abilities. Hiking is breathtaking with some of the best views in Colorado. This is the spot you want to be for summer fun!

*** This property is located in the Axtell Building which doesn't have an elevator. There are 3 flights of stairs to climb, but it's definitely worth the exercise for the location, the beautiful condo, and the amazing views from the oversized deck with the afternoon sun!

*** The fireplace isn't operable but has a nice grouping of candles for a nice atmosphere.

Super getaway for 3 days on the mountain

Key to the success of an extended weekend of ski/snowboarding is easy, easy, easy! Sonya is great, the location is great, the condo had everything we needed. Yes, there are stairs, but well worth it! We will be back.

The condo was spacious and plenty of room for 6 people. The host was responsive and ensured that the place was perfect for our stay. The location is also perfect and close to the free shuttle that takes you around which was great! Would definitely book again and highly recommend!

What a wonderful place to stay!

Everything was fantastic. Location especially. Only complaint came from our teenagers about the lack of ability of streaming services. Minor issue when the goal is to be on the mountain!

Great Location

Condo is in great location, close to lifts. Only downsides are the 3-4 flights of stairs you need to climb, small bathrooms and limited parking spaces.

Great location for summer time!

Very spacey place, came to see wildflowers! Shuttle available to take you down town! Great views from the fourth floor! We were going to use hot tub but didn’t realize it wasn’t available past 9pm. Sonya was able to help us with finding parking as we brought 2 vehicles but were only allowed one vehicle in the parking lot, ended up working well! I recommend staying here if you have a chance!

No better location

Stayed here with my partner and 2 friends for a weekend.. could not be any closer to the base area lifts! Are there a few stairs? Yes, but you put your equipment in the ski locker right across the main lift so not that big of a deal. There’s a foyer table we were able to unfold for dinner and games one night. There was no drip coffee maker but there is a French press and a Kuerig with a refillable pod so bring your own coffee grounds. And it helped we had 18” of fresh snow to ski :) Thank you Sonya, we can’t wait to come back!!

Week in Crested Butte

Great property if you are looking for something at the base of the mountain. It was not an issue for us but the condo is up three flights of stairs which may be an issue for some.

Spring break ski week

Our family of 5 stayed for an amazing week of the biggest snow we’ve ever seen! SkiTopia is a great location. Steps away from the lifts, Mt Crested Butte shops and a hot tub that was always available for our family. It is a trek up 3 flights of stairs to the condo which took some getting used to on the first day with luggage and food. Thankfully, with 3 teenage kids it made the move in process a bit easier. Parking was also very close to the Axtell building. The ski locker was a bit hard to find but we did locate a small closet on the slope side of the Axtell building tucked under the stairs. The space is small and lacked a dining area and made watching TV together as a family of 5 a bit cramped. However, sleeping arrangements were perfect. We chose to eat in for most lunches and dinners and found the kitchen to be well stocked. Overall, we would choose to stay at SkiTopia again!

Great slopeside getaway!

This condo is literally at the base of Silver Queen & Red Lady Express. It was perfect for a long weekend getaway. It is about a 4-5 minute walk to the buses which run into town every 15 minutes. The parking lot is at the base of the unit. It is on the 3rd floor, but you only have to go up/down 2 flights after the initial ascent. The ski locker is quite handy right at the base of the chairlifts. The kitchen is small but sufficed for us. We cooked breakfast daily but went out to dinner. The balcony is very large and overlooks the mountain - prepare for great sunrises. We had 5 adults (1 couple, 3 friends). You could squeeze 6, but 5 was perfect. I'll stay again next time we ski in Crested Butte!

As close as you can get for skiing

Really convenient property for a ski trip. We left the front door at 845, walked to the ski locker, and were in line 5 minutes prior to opening. It’s listed, and reviewed everywhere but there are stairs. You should know before you go. Loading gear in from the parking lot takes a few trips, and you’ll need to just flop on the floor and breathe for a few minutes. Makes you feel alive. Just drink some Gatorade and have a little snack passing Gunnison and you’ll be fine. We were downstairs with 2 daughters upstairs. Great layout. Washer, dryer, well appointed kitchen. Everything we needed to be at home when we weren’t skiing. The town bus is close by and runs frequently. We had dinners down in town. Very nice. We arrived at 8pm on the first night and had no problem finding a place to park. I could see, from the balcony, plenty of people showing up near opening time. Looks like folks try to get away with some free parking. So, if you moved your car during the day I could see having to wait for a spot to free up. Never had any competition for the hot tub, it really is right there. Fun to watch people streaming off the mountain at closing. The home owner left us a nice welcome gift along with a notebook of information. Thought it was put together really well, and I would definitely return.

Spoiled with ski-in, ski-out

Our family has been coming to Colorado every winter for the last 11 years. This is our first time staying at a true ski-in, ski-out and now we are spoiled. It was so convenient to throw on our equipment and be in the lift line early. We enjoyed coming back to the condo for lunch each day. This unit was perfectly designed for our family of 5 (we have 3 teenagers). The loft area was their space to relax and enjoy. They provide a lot of different options of games, which we used each evening.

Great Location

Location on the mountain was great. The condo itself was wonderful and fit our needs perfectly. The bus down to the town was super easy, making it super easy for us to function without a rental car.
