The view here is to die for...This spacious beach house sits directly on Cape Cod's Lewis Bay. Perfect for a family vacation or family reunion with your own beach to lie on, yard to play in, patio to grill on, and deck to watch the ferry boats go by. The extensive eat in kitchen (where all 10 of you can eat comfortably) flows right into the sizable yet charming family room. Each cozy bedroom is furnished with a bed and dresser, linens not included. Websites where easily accessible linens are available will be given upon request. There is a washer and dryer on site. The bottom floor boasts a bar area that leads to outside patio perfect for entertaining and relaxing after a day at the beach. Walking distance to playground and public beach,Hyannis marina and Main Street which provides ample entertainment with a number of shops,restaurants,bars,ice cream, mini golf etc.

Great Cape Cod family experience

Three generation family spend four nights in mid June. A little cool and wet but everyone enjoyed the house and the beach. Little kids explored the tide pools and enjoyed the sandy experience. Other adults could watch from the deck. Great restaurants were across the bay which was close enough and far enough from the crowds. Highly recommend as a family experience.

Gorgeous view

It was a great property for a family stay. We rarely left the property and just sat on the beach and grilled at night. It was very spacious for a big group and we had a lovely time.

Beautiful view and exceptional access to Lewis Bay

House fits 10 comfortably. Wonderful view and access to Lewis Bay. Quiet and safe area. Near downtown Hyannis. Inside is charming yet dated. Should be noted for families with children that the interior railings are very short.

Wonderful Experience!

We absolutely loved staying at Kathie's home. It is particularly ideal for families with kids. Everyone had their own separate room and each room had it's own AC unit so everyone was comfortable. The house is also right on the water for any parents who want to enjoy their vacation with kids who still take naps! The deck is updated and has the most beautiful view to sip your coffee or for a late night cocktail. The tides of the beach went out so far which was also great for kids. My 2YO was able to walk out and enjoy the ocean! They also had hours of fun on the piano in the living room. There is a wonderful outdoor dining area. Highly recco a stay here!

Friends vacation

Everything was great !!! Large, well equipped kitchen area for group meals. Plenty of space indoors to relax. Beautiful views from all the rooms. Great patio for grilling and enjoying the bay views. Plenty of off street parking. Owner was very quick to respond to any of our questions. All in All it was the perfect house for our vacation and will definitely be renting it again in the future!!!

Great location, wonderful view

My group of over-50 men golfers really enjoyed this home. Great location, and we loved sitting on the balcony watching the ferries and boats go by. Bedrooms were all just right for our group, neighborhood was peaceful, and we were happy with everything in the house. Kathie is easy to deal with and accommodating. Highly recommend.

The house was great and fit all 6 of us nicely. Access to the beach was easy and made for a great day feeling the water and enjoying the boats going by. Upon arrival we were pleasantly surprised by the bedrooms as there weren’t enough pictures on the listing to show these and we were concerned they would be small or not to our standards. Luckily there were enough rooms for all of us to have our own space and the amount of bathrooms was great as well. The kitchen was suitable and we were able to make a nice dinner there though the knives could use some sharpening. The breeze through the doors and windows was lovely and the AC units in the bedrooms a great add that allowed each of us to sleep comfortably. I prefer to keep communication within the vrbo app but Kathie prefers text so that’s how we did most of our communication. She provided quick responses when I asked questions. The location was perfect and made for a quick walk to tugboats for a nice dinner and night out! Thanks for a great weekend!

Has everything you would want.

Perfect number of bedrooms for our party of 10. Right on the water with your own beach. Beautiful view of Hyannis Harbor. Appliances worked well. Lots of room for games and puzzling after dark. Nice quiet neighborhood. Spend alot of time in and on the water kayaking and paddle boarding. The only downside for me was the house was a little musty, damp in the basement, but didn't ruin our experience.

What a wonderful place

Three generations of our family spent a lovely week here in June. I have nothing but positive things to say about this property. The beach is right outside the door. The water is calm and warm and perfect for young kids. It is a terrific place to put a kayak in the water and take a nice swim. It is also walkable to downtown Hyannis and the ferries to Nantucket/Martha's Vineyard. The house had plenty of room for 10 of us. I plan to come back!

Perfect Location!

The location of this house was PERFECT! Just a few steps to get down to the beach and an easy walk (less than 30 minutes) to Main Street in Hyannis. The little kids LOVED watching all the boats go back and forth all day, and the water was warm and calm so even the most timid were willing to swim. The bedrooms were spacious and seemed to be soundproof (we had 4 children 3 and under in the bedrooms and no one ever woke anyone else up with crying etc.). The king bedroom with the en-suite bathroom was great for grandparents to be able to have their own space and to rest quietly while still being able to see the family playing on the beach. Eat-in kitchen had wonderful views and plenty of space for everyone to eat together. Having a washer/dryer and outdoor shower were definitely nice bonus features. Some features could use some updating (humidity is rough on woodwork when the house is right on the water like that) but it was a super comfortable house to stay in with young kids. We had an absolute blast!!

A Trip For Mom

My siblings and I wanted to find a place on the beach to take our mom for a little getaway where we could all be under one roof and have plenty of space for everyone and this place delivered. We each had our own rooms and the common spaces were large enough for us to hang together comfortably. We had a lovely time playing games, looking at family photo albums Mom brought along and sitting on the deck enjoying the view!

Great location, but disappointing accommodations

You can’t beat the location! But I would have sacrificed being waterfront if it meant we could have had basic amenities. This listing does not come with sheets or towels - we had to travel or purchase our own. The rooms and bathrooms come with the bare minimum (we ended up having to buy toilet paper as well). The beach chairs and umbrella were all broken or too rusted to use. The house hasn’t been renovated or updated in decades and it’s a shame because the location is INSANELY perfect. The owner was perfectly nice and responsive - but only sends you one hard copy of the booking agreement and doesn’t post any details online - so unless you make a physical copy, you don’t have a lot of answers at your fingertips if you have an issue at the house (other than to text her of course - and she was responsive). It was a major disappointment for the amount of money we paid (6 people for 4 nights).

Can't beat the location

My family and I loved the location of this house. Can't beat the private beach and the proximity to Main St. Hyannis! The house was big enough for the whole extended family! Kathie was easy to communicate with throughout the whole rental process.
