This beautiful cabin is directly on the Mulberry River in Oark Arkansas. You will not find a better location. The cabin is rustic but has all the modern conveniences of home. The cabin is within 1/2 mile from Oark General Store and 2.5 miles from Catalpa Café. You can ride on miles and miles of trails with NO trailering required to explore the Ozark National forests. The River is perfect for swimming, canoeing, or for just sitting on the porch and listening to it flow over the rocks. You will enjoy your stay regardless of the time of year. A propane grill is provided and I would bring some firewood for the porch swing fire pit. We also have a full rv hook up for and additional $30/night.

This was our 3 booking with the owners we have stayed at this particular one twice now. We love the access to all the trails here as well as the ease to get to Oark Burger and Byrds for breakfast or dinner. We don’t cook on vacations but if you do you have a well stocked kitchen in his Cabin. Just my wife and I stayed in The Cabin our friends rented the RV hook up next to the Cabin. Had a blast as always and the river was up, We loved that it’s directly behind the cabin! Gorgeous mornings and evening views and sounds! There was a burn ban so we couldn’t use the fire pit, but have used it in the past trips and it is a nice feature to relax around at the end of a day. The owner is extremely attentive and even helps you navigate to new trails by sending you directions. We will be staying here again this fall!
Our goal was to find a place "less traveled" to relax over spring break, and this one checked all the boxes! We planned to take advantage of the NW Arkansas UTV trails, but found it hard to leave the property... didnt want to leave!!
4 nights for family reunion. Very quiet and peaceful. Was somewhat disappointed the creek was really low. But that no fault of owners. Enjoyed coming back after being gone for 50+ years other than more foliage hasn’t changed a whole bunch.
BEAUTIFUL Cabin Nestled Between High Mountains, low water in the summer.
Would have been 4 stars if the creek would have been flowing and look somewhat like the picture, which it wasnt. Understandable, except we asked this before booking. Priced a little high ($1,680 plus 90 dollar insurance required), to sit in a cabin in the middle of Nowhere and watch TV. Great for 4 wheeler and ATV enthusiasts, which I am not. I can ride them at home. IF the water is up, im sure id have nothing bad to say. Just check the local water levels, and the "Mulberry River" is more of a small creek that depends on rain... in July it was a few holes and puddles of luke warm water. The mountains are absolutely beautiful, as they are some of, if not the biggest in the Ozarks. The lady who we dealt with was extremely nice and responsive. She went out of her way to try to accommodate. They own the Oark Store, as well, which has excellent food.
rhingd youd need c
Our family of 9 stayed a few days for the 4th. The property was very clean and very well furnished. While we hoped for a little higher river level it was July and made the best of it. We cooked all of our meals at the cabin but did make a couple of trips to the general store. The driveway is just a tad shy of 1/2 mile so made for a nice morning walk. The swings around the firepit was a wonderful place to just sit and unwind. Kris was very prompt with responding to messages and quite helpful. Will definitely visit again!
We selected this property because it is easy to access the trail system and the absolute bonus is it is super close to 3 really great restaurants which is important as we do not cook meals on vacation. But if you wanted to cook all the kitchen items are there. Just plan ahead as there are no grocery stores in this area.
The wet wether River right behind the cabin was amazing to splash in as well as just look at while relaxing on the covered deck.
This cabin sleeps 8, but only has one full bathroom and a half bath upstairs, something to consider should you want to travel with a lot of people. It was perfect for our needs and we will book here again!
Weekend riding trip, it was a quick get away but would not hesitate going back. The view is great and off road trails all around. Great restaurant right across the street.
This cabin is fantastic! It is right on the Mulberry River, so the view is great. The outdoor space for lounging includes a fire pit with porch swings surrounding it. It's a great place to just hang out! The porch overlooking the river has rocking chairs for relaxing. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with good cookware and dishes.
Great location. Super pretty. Decoration for Christmas was an appreciated bonus! Well stocked kitchen. Make sure to bring all you need for food! Great food close by too! Beautiful scenery.
We really enjoyed our stay! The Moose Lodge was setup great! Absolutely loved the firepit area and the ability to keep our machines from getting drenched from the overnight rain. Convenient to Oark Cafe! Thanks!
