Our family enjoyed our stay! The cabin was extremely clean, and the hosts went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We were there for Thanksgiving, and we can't wait to come back in the summer!
This place is very secluded, quiet and peaceful. The cabin is well appointed with all your basic needs. Bring food with you unless you want to drive a while! Overall a great getaway.
My husband and I visited here with our kids, ages 4, 7, 10. Everyone loved it! The kids stayed in/around the creek almost all day every day, and the cabin was perfect for playing games and watching movies. They provide lots of games, so that was a huge bonus. Gary was communicative and answered any questions promptly. It was so clean! Really close to Oark General Store for a great lunch. My kids are already asking for a summer trip to come back!
Very clean and will kept property in great shape!
The drive was beautiful getting there and we enjoyed both days of peace and quiet and to top it off the weather was great!
We spent a long weekend here for our anniversary. The cabin was comfortable and clean. We were very happy with our stay. The views are beautiful and it was beyond peaceful. We loved sitting on the porch listening to the sound of the river with our morning coffee & evening glass of wine. It was the perfect way to unwind at the end of each day. They have a basket full of brochures from the area that was helpful (for non planners like us). We went to Wilderness Rider and rented a UTV to ride the trails after finding a brochure in the basket. A must for the area is visiting the Oark General Store and getting a fried pie. A week later I’m still dreaming about that pie!
Just an amazing 2 days! So secluded and peaceful under the tall trees. Sun peaks through and man a great place to just hang out and unwind. Creek is just in front of cabin maybe a couple hundred feet and just the right amount of water flowing. Mid July, but humidity was lower and the shade made all the difference. Not many bugs around the cabin or the water.
The cabin had everything you would need as far as basics, very clean and stocked. AC worked just fine to keep it cool in the evening and over night. Make sure you gas up before you get within the last hr of arriving, no stations around.
I will probably be booking again as this was just what the son and I needed, a great get away spot with some seclusion. Big thanks to the owners, very responsive to text and knowledge of the area. Thank you for the Arkansas experience!
The cabin is amazing. Loved all the details of the cabin and had all conveniences that you would need. Loved sitting on front porch in rocking chair and listening to the quiet of the area. The beds were very comfortable.
We was very satisfied with the state that we had at the cabin. The owners were very helpful if needed for something they were always there. I would recommend this being a good place to stay thank you.
Gary and Tammy were excellent hosts. Their communication was clear. The place was perfect. The cabin is secluded and very quiet. We didn't hear any neighbors or have anyone drive by. The cabin was clean, the water was hot, we had plenty of towels for showers.
This property was AMAZING! It was clean, remote, and exactly as described. Minus one detail that I perhaps may have missed, but was not a big deal. I recommend coming in a SUV or truck, the driveway crosses down into a small creek. As well as driving around this area like Panther Creek rd, 4x4/ SUV/ truck is recommended. I will forsure be staying here again!
Definitely recommend some type of 4x4 vehicle to reach this destination as it is a rugged off-road driveway with a shallow water crossing to reach the cabin. I loved how secluded this was, probably the most secluded a cabin has been that I have stayed at thus far. Amazing stream that runs along the property that always had an amazing sound you could hear outside. The inside was fairly up to date and very clean. Newer appliances, wi-fi, and satellite TV if you so choose. A few small grievances: almost every amenity was provided, unfortunately there was no facial tissue (Kleenex) and as somebody with allergies this was sorely missed and I was forced to use paper towels to blow my nose. I wished the windows had screens so I could have them open to hear the amazing stream sounds but this unfortunately was not the case. The metal roof was very loud at night with what I believe was squirrels crawling around on it. Luckily the back bedroom provided mostly decent sound insulation from this. The first night I was awoken to what I thought sounded like talking, but disregarded it. The second night sleeping I was awoken again to what I thought sounded like somebody closing an exterior door. Not sure if it was something crawling around outside making these sounds but it did make sleeping difficult, I am a light sleeper.
The cabin is secluded and right across from a nice flowing river. We saw a deer in the yard one evening and could not have asked for a better cabin to get away for the weekend. The owners were very nice and easy to communicate with. We are very pleased with our stay and will absolutely be coming back!
Spend 3 days exploring waterfalls in the Ozarks with my eleven year old daughter. The cabin was the perfect location with the right amount of rustic and remoteness but still plenty of convenience and comfort. Recommend to plan your day trips within 20-30 miles drive, plenty to see and no need to spend all day in your car!
My wife and friends stayed to spend a weekend hiking in the mountains. The stay was excellent and an excellent setting in the woods. We will definitely book to stay here again.
Great place to unwind and relax. The creek was amazing and cabin was great!!!!! Clean and plenty of room for three people. The loft was very spacious. This was a great place to observe the the beauty of the area!
We loved being in the forest. The cabin was great and had everything we needed. No cell service was a blessing. We had great WiFi so could still entertain the kids at night. They were obsessed with the creek in front of the house. Communication was really great and we had all the information we needed. Would definitely stay again!
This cabin was absolutely perfect for my family. Super clean and stocked with everything we needed. Quiet, secluded and a fun adventure to get to! We ended up arriving well after dark and got a little lost. The host was super helpful with helping us find our way back. Communication on point! Immediate and efficient responses at any time of the day! 10/10 Will definitely rebook if we're ever back in the area!
