This is a lovely house that combines Old Mexican design with modern amenities. Located in an upscale, residential south end neighborhood, Casa Cereza is just a 4-minute walk to the town plaza and beach. The street is quiet and peaceful and the patio and backyard are very private and secluded.

The house has an open floor plan with a beautiful covered patio that opens onto a lush tropical garden. The roof offers star gazing, views of the hillside and bird watching at one of the largest fig trees you will ever see. Each bedroom features a queen-sized bed, screened windows, ceilings fans and remote controlled air conditioning to help assure you have a great night’s sleep. The patio features a relaxing hammock and an additional outside shower. If you decide to have a car, which is not really needed, there is off street parking.

Amenities include a kitchen completely stocked with all the supplies needed for cooking and food preparation. Wi-Fi is also provided for our guests.

Nicest place to stay in Boca

Boca as a town is a diamond in the rough, located in a beautiful setting but is a rugged little place! Casa Cereza is an exception to the surroundings, a beautiful and clean oasis amid the dust.

Super cute, comfy, and convenient home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Sayulita, and are so happy with our decision to rent this property. It was very conveniently located and I'm really glad we didn't stay in town because we could get a full night's sleep. We loved the back patio, the outdoor shower, and a comfortable kitchen with everything we needed. If we return to Sayulita, we would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful House in Sayulita

This is a stunning property expertly managed by property managers Nancy and Hermosa. Close to downtown in the South end of Sayulita, this is a gorgeous house, with a brand new kitchen, two bedrooms, and a private backyard with patio. Highly Recommend.

Good time great place

It is relaxing ,quite, and no big hills which Sayulita is full of. The back porch was lovely to sit and decide what our adventure for the day would be. Truely just as the pictures show. Would return in a hart beat.

Great little holiday home away from home!

We had a great time in Sayulita (as usual) and loved everything about Casa Cereza! It was spotless when we arrived and was in a perfect location. Although it is best suited for 4 people, we did just fine with the 5 of us....the only problem is that there should have been 5 hammocks, since we all wanted to laze in the one after a day at the beach. We will definitely book Casa Cereza on our next visit to Sayulita!!

Lovely casita and garden

We thought the casita was attractive, nicely decorated and well equiped. We enjoyed sitting out on the patio for all our meals. The location was good not too far from town or the beach. I wish I could say it was quiet and I realize the daily noise of construction and machinery was not the fault of the property. I would suggest you send the lock box code ahead of time as we had difficulty contacting Nancy so we had to wait for nearly an hour.

Charming and Great Location

My family stayed at Casa Cereza for two weeks in March 2017. We are a family of two adults and two teenage kids. The home was perfect for our family size and had all of the needed items which made our stay very comfortable. The patio is super relaxing, which is where we spent most of our mornings after a nice walk through town and then our evenings playing games after dinner. The walk to the beach is a short walk down a beautiful path or you can go down the main streets. The location was great in that it was easy to walk to town or the beach. We felt safe and the home was clean. The property manager responded quickly to any requests we had. We truly enjoyed our stay at Casa Cereza!

Nice house, good value, in great location!

We stayed 10 nights in December-January. The house is very charming and well built. It is the perfect size for a family of 4- it is not a mega mansion, just a cute casita with everything you need. The street is quiet, but sometimes we heard noisy neighbors, but that could be the case anywhere in town. Nice decor, nice patio with dining table. Kitchen is small and simple, yet adequately stocked including a supply of 5 gallon jugs of treated water that were delivered periodically. Very nice property managers- husband, wife and daughter who were responsive, helpful and speak English. There is A/C in the bedrooms, but we did not need to use it. We were a short walk to town and the beach. Only downside is the water pressure is poor in the bathrooms, and the living room furniture was a bit uncomfortable. Hopefully, we will be back - would definitely recommend!

Comfort !

This was a great rental ! Quite, Comfortable, Private and Clean. The kitchen was supplied with enough pots-pans, dishes etc etc.... to cook with. Close enough to town (a few blocks away) and to the beach but far enough away to be quite. Lovely outdoor courtyard/patio. Pretty much everything you needed for a one -two week stay (or longer). It was just the two of us so I would say its probably better for one couple or a family instead of two couples since its one bathroom and its a small one. OR for young couples who dont care about privacy (we are getting old !) . The only other thing I would add is that we didn't know that the cleaning lady and yard man were coming over and it startled us when we heard someone entering the side gate. Maybe a good idea to just leave a note on the kitchen bar stating when to expect the cleaning lady (who was wonderful !)

Not what’s advertised. Left early

Pro: cute house close to the center of town Cons: Communication with owner deteriorated once booked. Communication with property manager was atrocious. We really needed help because we tested positive after we arrived and she was impossible to reach and not much help when we did. Had to text her four times to get help arranging for a taxi to leave. Constant construction noise from two houses away. Could not sit on the patio and enjoy the outdoor space at all. Couldn’t even keep the doors open to the outside when we were inside. Felt totally claustrophobic. House was totally ill-equipped. Thank goodness they were just two of us because there was a total of four dishes, four mugs, cheap inadequate silverware, no good knives or rubber spatula or mixing bowls or potato peeler. Nowhere to eat except at the high table in the middle of the kitchen where you might’ve just finished preparing food. Advertised as 1 1/4 baths. That would lead anyone to assume that the extra quarter bath was a toilet. Instead it is an outdoor shower which is a nice novelty thing to have but not helpful when you would like to have two bathrooms. All in all, if I were planning to do is sleep there, it’s fine. Otherwise avoid it.

Lovely first vacation in Mexico

The house and location were great, and exactly as advertised. It was clean and the housekeeping service cleaned once during our stay. The manager Nancy was very professional and very responsive via email and text. She helped get us sorted out with multiple activities as well as transportation. Overall we had a wonderful stay and a lovely introduction to (a small part of!) Mexico.

Wonderful Retreat Close to Town

The house was a great setup for us. We are working remote during the days and we had multiple work areas. There was a desk, a kitchen island and an outdoor table to provide separation during conference calls. The walk into town or to the beach was very close. There was a convenient store very close that provided what we needed. The checkin process was seamless as the manager met us at the property at the exact time we arranged. The evenings were very quiet as the town noise can filter up to other places we have stayed.

Beautiful little hideaway

My girlfriend and I loved the house. Perfect distance away from the bustle of the ctown center that you feel like you can relax but just a 5 minute walk down a cute downhill path to all the restaurants and the beach. The house itself is so fun, cozy and private. I would absolutely stay there again.

Second Time at Casa Cereza Fantastic

We love Casa Cereza! The location is perfect-close to town and the beach, but far enough to be quiet. The house is charming and so comfortable. The back porch is a wonderful hang-out zone. We love the outside shower and the kitchen. Nancy and Herasmo were great property managers. They helped us with all our needs. I definitely would stay again!

Lovely Beach Week

Casa Cereza was exactly as described. Not on the beach, but a short walk found us in town or on the beach. The back terrace was gorgeous and I spent a lot of time in the hammock. The kitchen was equipped with only two very small refrigerators, but that worked for the simple breakfasts and lunches we prepared. Beds were comfortable and it was decorated nicely. We had a problem with no water pressure in the bathroom on the day we checked in - this was resolved the next morning.

Casa Cereza (a real cherry)

My small family group (two couples and child) loved our stay here! It was just as advertised, very tranquil, and yet an easy walk to the main square and beach. The design and decor invited lounging, and the beds were comfortable, with unobtrusive air con a nice touch for us northerners. My only small criticism would be that the two small fridges were a bit hard to use, being at floor level. I would not hesitate to rebook this accommodation or to recommend it.
