Luxurious beachfront penthouse! Panoramic views, white sand beach, private pool

Welcome to my beach home! This 6-unit development built in 2016 boasts just one condo per floor, underground parking with private elevator that opens directly into the unit. Decks are enclosed with glass railings and massive floor-to-ceiling windows afford unobstructed views of Banderas Bay, Sierra Madre mountains, and Marina Riviera Nayarit. Secured by a gated electronic entry, the property also includes a common area with lush landscaping, a large Palapa pool house with dining area and Weber grill, an infinity pool, lounge area and outdoor shower. The white sand beach is just steps beyond the secure glass railing, and all within walking distance of restaurants, night life and the Sunday marketplace.

The Penthouse is a modern 2-bed/2-bath unit with 2 large covered terraces offering nearly 1780 sq. feet of luxury living. A wonderful mix of Mid Century modern and Mexican inspired furnishings provides the ultimate in relaxation in this professionally decorated space. Lounge on the terrace, listen to the waves lap the shore, catch a glimpse of a whale, watch the sailboats bob in the anchorage and the luxury yachts sail through the marina.

The Penthouse also includes a private 1000 sq. foot rooftop terrace. Glass railings provide a spectacular view of the bay and marina. The private plunge pool with fountain is the perfect place to cool off after sunning on chaise lounges. Watch the Frigate birds catch air over the deck. Mix a drink or prepare a snack in the outdoor kitchen and wet bar. Read a book or nap under the shade of the pergola. Trust me, you won't want to leave!

The town of La Cruz is still a small fishing village but boasts many excellent restaurants, both casual and gourmet. It is home to the extremely popular Sunday Artisan Market. Enjoy an evening of music at one of the music venues. The condo is a short easy stroll to the world class "Marina La Cruz" which is still home to the local fishing fleet. You will find an expansive daily fish market, lovely restaurants, and multiple day charter opportunities for fishing, sailing, and bay exploration.

Note! Unfortunately most of the quaint homes on the beach have been taken down for condo development. Three condos and a large private home have gone up. There are 2 lots left and we are getting new neighbors to the south.

We had an incredible stay at Cheryl’s La Cruz home! Cheryl is absolutely amazing with communication—quick to respond, incredibly helpful, and full of great suggestions for boating- (booked with Antonio for a private day of whale watching—best day ever!), restaurants (tried almost all of her suggestions and none disappoint) and anything else you might need during your stay, she’s got you!The condo itself is outstanding. It’s beautifully appointed, packed with amenities, and thoughtfully stocked with all the comforts of home. The kitchen is especially impressive—perfect for anyone who loves to cook, with plenty of space and everything a chef could want- just grab some fresh caught fish from the market and grill up some delicious dinners. Between the stunning beachfront setting, the luxurious condo, and Cheryl’s top-notch hosting, this place truly exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend staying here and we will happily return.

Fantastic condo with views of Puerto Vallarta. Truly excellent food in the fish market next door. We loved the private pool and sitting on the patio, enjoying the views with our espresso in the mornings.

Great beachfront location. Local neighborhood streets really bad. Beachfront condos on cobblestones. Local restaurants good/bad credit card scammed once for 1,300 at top gas station once.

Thank you for taking the time to review. La Cruz was a small fishing village with all dirt roads before the marina arrived. It has a couple concrete finished roads now and the remaining are cobblestone and dirt roads. I think that is part of it's charm. Changes are coming sometimes too fast. A more big city feel can be found in Puerto Vallarta, and Nuevo Vallarta if that is what you are looking for. There are gas stations before entering and after exiting the town of La Cruz. Unfortunately credit card fraud can happen anywhere. I have not heard any reports that it is a problem in the area. The town is walkable and still filled with working Mexican family's. Restaurants are often family owned. The fish market created for the fisherman of the town is steps away. Charters for day trips into the bay are readily available out of the marina. The condo offers a beautiful view of the anchorage and marina and the private rooftop terrace provides a wonderful spot to lounge the day away.

Best location in La Cruz

Our stay in this condo was so easy and seamless. It’s quiet, nicely located on the beach, and next door to the marina. We enjoy walking into La Cruz for dinner each evening after hanging out in the pool all day.

Amazing Experience

Stunning views as soon as you enter the doors of this penthouse condo. Comfortable and cozy with lots of modern touches. The rooftop plunge pool was a great way to cool off while enjoying the vista view of Vallarta Bay and made it feel like your own private oasis. Easy access to the beach and lots of nearby places to eat and drink, or grab fresh market ingredients and off the boat seafood to cook back at the condo. Loved waking up to a fantastic sunrise and sounds of the waves, Overall, an amazing experience!

Relax in La Cruz

Loved Cheryl’s condo! Great views of the marina and the bay, and the deck top pool was super relaxing. The unit had everything we needed to grill up some fish and shrimp from the market, and close to town for the nights we decided to eat out (and we highly recommend Masala’s for dinner). Would stay there again.

Wonderful stay

Beautiful, quiet, and peaceful…We enjoyed the Sunday market, sailboat regatas from the private rooftop pool, and several wonderful restaurants in La Cruz. The activity of Bucerias is just a 15-minute bus or taxi ride away. Michelle will happily arrange a taxi to pick you up at the condo. The penthouse is beautiful and thoughtfully well-appointed. Our stay was everything we thought it would be!

With Covid This unit being a Vrbo it feels much safer than a huge resort with hundreds of people around , the roof top pool adds to the feeling of real privacy The town was great they take health safety very seriously Lots of great restaurants Did not turn the TV for the whole 11 days That says a lot for the natural beauty that is there to enjoy from any of the outdoor spaces it has offer The management was great very helpful with setting up transfers from airport and for outings Loved this place !!!!

Amazing Views

This property has an amazing location. Right on the beach and close to the marina. The private roof top area and the plunge pool were the reasons why we rented this property. We spent a lot of time on the roof. The rest of the property is great with high end appliances, elevator direct to the condo, underground parking and very nice decorating. La Cruz is very quiet. It is nice but it doesn't have any banks or major shopping. We did end up renting a car and made many trips to Puerto Vallarta, Bucerias and Sayulita. Gecko Rentals in Bucerias has very reasonable rates.

Thank you for your review. La Cruz is still a small town. Banks are in the next town toward the airport in Bucerias. It is easier to exchange for pesos there by the large grocery stores Mega or La Comer. You can find most of what you need around town. There are a couple convenience stores on Delfin. You can get meat at Kenny's Carniceria, vegetables and fruit at Fruteria Gonzálas. It is a bit of a treasure hunt. It may be easier to go to one of the big stores in Bucerias. Taxi service can be acquired at the marina entrance/square and at the traffic light. I am happy you enjoyed the condo!
