This is one of 5 beautiful and luxurious 7 - Bedroom Chalets/Villas that sits on the banks of the Douglas Lake just minutes away from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. With breath-taking views around every corner, you will be in awe of the natural beauty that surrounds you as you enjoy luxurious accommodations. All our villas have high speed fiber WiFi.

The chalets/villas feature elegant touches throughout and sleeps 18 people making it perfect for Vacations, Family Gatherings, Holidays, and even Corporate Retreats! With Smoky Mountain Villas you are able to make this the perfect destination for the whole family to enjoy as you will have the best of both worlds featuring the nature and serenity of the Great Smoky Mountains minutes away, but also all Lake-Adventure you can imagine with Boating, Swimming, Skiing, Water-sports, and more.

Bedroom 1 is on the upper floor of the villa, it has a King bed and private attached bathroom.
Bedroom 2 is also on the upper floor, with a King bed and private attached bathroom.
Bedroom 3 and 4 are on the main level, they both have King beds and share a Jack and Jill bathroom.
Bedroom 5 Is on the lower level with a King bed, it shares a Jack and Jill bathroom with one of the bunk bed rooms.
Bedrooms 6 and 7 are both bunk bed rooms. Both have 1 set of bunk beds each with full over Queen mattresses. One of the bunk bed rooms shares a bath with bedroom 5. There is also a full bath in the hallway.

Outside of the chalets you will step out to enjoy the fresh air and breath-taking views of Douglas Lake. At Smoky Mountain Villas we have everything you could ever need for a lake adventure. Right below this chalet is our dock. Paddle boards, kayak, and fishing gear are all available complementary to Smoky Mountain Villas guests. This area is also great for swimming!

Douglas Lake is a reservoir, so water levels fluctuate throughout the year. We are located on the main channel so we always have water, however there are periods of time where access to the water is limited. Kayaks and paddle boards are unavailable in the Winter months.

The pool and hot tub are open from Memorial Weekend to September 14th. They are open from 9am- dusk daily.

Across from the pool area is the fire pit, wood is stocked in a rack next to the fire pit for easy access for guests.

Our dock has 4 slips available for guests who would like to bring a boat and keep it in he water. Dock slips rent for $30/day. Please let us know if you would like to reserve a slip ahead of time to guarantee availability.

All of the amenities on the property; pool, hot tub, boat dock, and fire pit are shared spaces for all guests on the property, 6 villas in total.

Our location is perfect for those who wish to visit the Great Smoky Mountains, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Sevierville without being in the midst of the hustle and bustle.

At Smoky Mountain Villas We have full time manager/maintenance personnel on duty during the normal business hours of 8am to 5pm M-F if guest need anything or have questions.

Amazing & perfect family trip!! The property was breathtaking & the cabin was exactly like the pictures. We used the kayaks, the fire pit, the pool, we grilled out & ate on the deck with the best view u could imagine, we rented a golf cart for the stay (highly recommend). It’s honestly just so ideal for a nice family vacation…we are hoping to come back in a few months!!

Douglas Lake

Fantastic time at Douglas Lake! The house was perfect for our party of 16! We used the paddle boards and kayaks every day. The pool area was so inviting but could not beat the lake! I would definitely stay there again.

Family Vacation 2023

Our group of 12 ranged from ages 2 to 62. We all enjoyed the property. The pool, the hot tub, the lake and the kayaks were all great. We also spent 2 days at Dollywood which was a pleasant drive and a great experience. We will definitely return if we get the chance.

Great escape from reality

We had the most amazing time at Smoky Mountain Villas. The pool and the lake are both amazing. The house had more than enough room for our family of 9. We had additional friends come for a weekend and there was still plenty of room. The owners and property manager are warm, helpful and accessible. Plenty to do within an hour drive.

Family vacation

The Villa was just as pictured. Perfect for a large family. We rented the golf cart and boat for the week. There were also fishing poles, kayaks and floats on the dock that were there for everyone to use. The owner was on the property and answered any questions that you might have. We had a great time.

Great Great Great We truly enjoyed our stay. Everything was great about this location. Theirs only one downfall and it’s trying to get down to the lake. They should really renovate that area and make it easier and safer for guest. Someone is gonna get hurt

Very nice big house

This is a beautiful property and worked so well for our large (17) family. It was very clean and the owner was very helpful and quick to respond. One suggestion: can you add a bottle/plastic recycle bin? We felt bad throwing out so much glass and plastic.

Thanksgiving family gathering

The house was perfect for our large family. The space was not only beautiful but was perfect for us to gather. The view of the lake is spectacular looking out the large lake-facing windows. It is fully equipped with all kitchen supplies. In spite of it being winter and not able to enjoy the lake activities, we enjoyed out of doors at the firepit. Also the wood-burning fireplaces were great. I can’t say enough about Josh and his helpfulness and his responsiveness. My only comment is to be aware it is about an hour drive to the Gatlinburg are.

Most amazing view!

Such an amazing house! Very clean property, wonderful amenities, and an amazing view. It was wonderful to get away from the Pigeon Forge crowd and stay at a nice quiet home. (About a 40 minute drive). Will definitely stay here again!

Great location for a multigenerational family trip

We had 3 generations gathered together. 9 people with 4 kids ranging from 1 to 12 years old. There was something to do for all ages. The pool was perfect and enough pool toys were available to supplement what we could fit in our luggage. The golf cart helped with the hills and small children but would be doable without one. The house was great with a good selection of kitchen supplies, and a good bedroom/bathroom setup for all. The living areas and deck worked perfectly for everyone to have plenty of space to play or get away even when naps were happening. Lots of good memories were created!

Overall this was a fantastic property to stay at for a family vacation that included 14 people. Cabin had plenty of room for 7 adults and 7 kids ranging from 10-17. Location was perfect for enjoying time on the lake and it was not far from Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg if you want to go there. Also was extremely close to other fun stuff like whitewater rafting. Town of Newport was nearby which made supply runs very easy. The pool and all of the lake amenities such as kayaks and paddleboards made for easy downtown for adults without kids whining about not having anything to do. If I had to absolutely find something to complain about it would be that a few of my questions submitted through the VRBO website were not answered very quickly in the months prior to our arrival. Highly recommend making the 15 minute drive to "The Rustic Cow" for ice cream.

Wonderful place to stay!

We had 15 people stay at the property comfortably. We enjoyed the pool very much and especially loved the boat dock with toys. Water was perfect, the house exceeded expectations and the staff was on top of all our request. Rented their boat a few days for some tubing and used paddle boards and canoes pretty much daily. Highly recommend staying here. Side note, we went into Pigeon Forge (easy 25-35 min drive) after our fantastic tour of the Forbidden Caverns (10-15 min away tour is about an hour) and ate at The Local Goat (food it top notch burgers and onion rings). Highly recommend these also.

Great for family gatherings! Secluded serenity!

Our family had a blast! The cabin had all the amenities we could ask for. Perfect place to bond/reconnect with family. A septic pump went out about 7pm the first night we were there, but the manager was at the cabin in about 20 minutes of being notified and replaced it. Thankful they were prepared enough to have a spare pump on hand. We would definitely consider staying here again!

Douglas Lake Villa Weekend Oasis
