About this property

Adorable home w lake front- Paddle boats & kayaks ava, and 2 bathrooms!

This property was remodeled and is lovely!

This cozy house is located on over 1/2 acres of land so you don't have neighbors right on top of you, and you don't have to walk to a park or a beach. The shore is mainly sand with some pebbles. Many properties in the area have a muddy lake bottom, but you can walk into ours a ways before hitting mud!

There are 2 bedrooms and two bathrooms, a fully stocked kitchen with a charcoal grill outside, and a living room with a fireplace to relax in or kick back in the air conditioning in the summer, and a garage for your toys.

We have yard games, board games, books, kayaks, paddle boats, a large TV, internet, and a blue-ray player so you have lots of entertainment at the house. The sandy shoreline is perfect for wading in during the summer months, and the lake is perfect for year round fishing, including ice fishing in the winter There are also many snowmobile trails in the area.

The house is located just 2 blocks away from a gravel boat launch! There are 14 bars and supper clubs around the lake and over 10,000 acres of water to enjoy. The activities are abundant in the area such as golf, a pool, parks, farm tours, bowling, the drive-in theatre, wine tastings, or stock car races. There are also activities in the city of Madison, Milwaukee, and Wisconsin Dells to discover.

The local townships around the lake, as well as both Dane and Jefferson counties, now require that the host has the name and address of the guest booking the property.

This home is just over 2 hours to the Chicago area, or about 20 minutes to Madison, Janesville or Fort Atkinson, so you won't spend much of your precious vacation time driving. The Anchor Inn is nearby to rent a boat if you don't bring one.

Peaceful get away

Stayed here for 3 nights with my teenage kids. Was perfect for a family getaway. Loved being on the lake and took advantage of the kayaks and paddle boat. Lots of restaurants close by and the kitchen was well stocked with all we needed for cooking in as well. House was so clean and had everything we needed!

Great Koshkonong location

House was clean, well stocked with both essentials and water toys, and conveniently right on Lake Koshkonong. Our kids and dog loved the easy beach access for swimming. Town needs like gas, groceries, and boat rental are less than 15 minutes away and the Lily Pad Restaurant is a 5 minute walk. Communication with Tammy was very fast and check in/out painless. We would return again and definitely recommend for a pet friendly family weekend.

HUGE Yard -- our 3 kids (age 10-14) played football while my husband made a fire in the fire pit right near the shore. We listened to music and danced the night away. In the day time -- we were out in the kayaks and paddle boat and fished (brought our own fishing supplies). Then hit up Lily pad for Thursday night Bingo (5-min walk),and my son won 20. A carefree, relaxed, wonderful 2-night stay. Thank you Tammy!

Why they chose this property

The house needed a lot of work, which is a challenge that I love to take on when I find a home needing major TLC. However, the deciding factor was when I saw the view of the lake. The 130' of water front across such a big lake just melted my heart, and I'm sure it will do the same for you.
