Come and escape to this property that all who visit describe as "a special place". This 3-bedroom, 2 1/2-bath home allows you to stay amongst the natural beauty that makes WNC great, yet be close enough to the city of Asheville to enjoy all that it offers. Named for the three water sources that frame the property, Three Waters offers an atmosphere meant for relaxing and connecting. Step off the porch that sits on a bluff over Sandymush Creek and walk down to the family swing to while away the afternoon with a picnic or maybe do some fishing in the creek while keeping an eye out for river otters, blue herons, or the deer, turkey, and playful groundhogs that call the property home as well.

The Home

Master Bedroom: King Bed with en suite full bathroom with shower | Bedroom 2: Queen Bed and Twin Bed | Bedroom 3: Twin over Full bunk bed

This home built in the mid-90s was modeled after the early farmhouses of the Appalachia with a ground floor that connects the kitchen, living room and large dining room around a central column. The dining room was designed to host, featuring an old farm-style table that seats 10, window bench seating, and direct access to the wrapped porch and deck. Enjoy a 55-in TV and DirectTV access in the living room, with fiber optic internet that allows you to stream movies/shows. The kitchen has plenty of gear to cook to your hearts delight, including a gas stove and oven, mixers, blenders, cookware, toaster, and microwave to name a few items. Laundry of a full size washer and dryer are downstairs and available to use.

Upstairs you will find the three bedrooms and two of the baths, the half bath is on the ground level, the master bath is connected to the Master Bedroom; the hall bathroom has a shower/tub combo.

After a day exploring the Blue Ridge Parkway (30min) or just hanging out in downtown Marshall (12min) or Asheville (25 min) know that you will be coming back to your home away from home and a luxurious bed in which to fall asleep.

The Spot

Sometimes you want some activity to balance out your peaceful relaxation. If so, you have come to the right place. Asheville is home to a diverse restaurant scene, breweries, arts districts, and fun that the whole family can enjoy.

Do not miss the famed Biltmore Estate or the Blue Ridge Parkway while you are in town. Hike a mountain or raft/paddleboard/tube down the French Broad River. Check out one of many local breweries in town while listening to some music, all are great ways to explore the bounty of the NC mountains.

Our home is located in the Sandy Mush Creek valley, a tributary of the French Broad River just a few miles away. The property also has two small creeks which flow into Sandy Mush and give our property its name, Three Waters.

Quiet Getaway
We really enjoyed this house surrounded by nature. The owners even provided binoculars for viewing wildlife. The house was cozy, the beds comfortable, the kitchen well equipped. The only disappointment was that the Jacuzzi doesn't work. Check with hosts before you book if that is important to you. We would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely Gorgeous!!
Host was very responsive and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. We enjoyed having morning coffee on the porch listening to the sound of the babbling brook. We were very disappointed to find there was no hot tub as described in the Amenities section. (We went over budget to have a hot tub.) There is a Jacuzzi type bathtub but it didn’t work. Overall - great place, great trip!

The BEST Stay!
I had the best stay at Edward's house! He was the best host! Super communicative. The check in process was smooth and he provide us with a lot of recommendations on what to do. The house was squeaky clean! The house itself was gorgeous and the surroundings too. My husband and I had a great time. It was a quiet neighborhood which was exactly what we were looking for! If you're ever in the Marshall/ Asheville area this is your place to stay! Will definitely stay here again! Thanks for everything Edward!

Gorgeous Property
This property is abslutely stunning, beautiful, peaceful and serene. The owners were very easy to communicate with. HIghly recommend staying here if you are going to Marshall. Definitely follow the written directions to pull into the house. Our family loved sitting on the large porch and watching our grandfather fish, we ran and did cartwheels in the beautiful large lawn and loved it!

Biltmore Weekend
Our family spent the weekend at your home for a trip to see the Biltmore Estate. The house was great for our family. The kitchen had what we needed to make breakfast and yummy cookies. The beds were very comfortable and the living room couches with the reclining seats were awesome. The early morning view from the window seat was amazing. We saw deer and a heron. Thank you so much for opening up your home to us.

My Wife and are were raised in Western North Carolina and absolutely love the Blue Ridge Mountains and the fresh air! We have moved away with our 4 children to live in Puerto Rico and have been loving that adventure for the past 5 years. During the summers we travel back to our old home to visit family still there and explore our favorite places.

Why they chose this property

We chose this neighborhood for the peace and serenity it brings. Having Sandy Mush Creek in the backyard to fish, put in a float, or just listen to the water passing by.

What makes this property unique

This property has lots of land to walk around without ever having to run into people. Use the binoculars to spot the deer, turkey, birds that roam the land.
