Alpine cabin nestled in Rocky Mountain Paradise

This charming alpine cabin is a prime location to enjoy Grand Lake's historic vacation area. If you like to boat, ski, golf, fish, hike, bike, snowmobile, or ride horse back; this Rocky Mountain destination is close to it all. It is within minutes of the west entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park, many lakes, and Grand Lake Nordic Center which offers miles of ski and snowmobile trails. For downhillers, it is 20 minutes from Granby Rach and 40 minutes from Winter Park Resort. The cozy cabin has an updated kitchen and has a classic fireplace that is calling for you to put your feet up and enjoy some quiet time.
The Cabin has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths. The 1st floor bed room has a queen bed, an upper bedroom has a queen, 2nd upper bedroom has 2 twin beds and 1 full bed. The kitchen is well equipped for preparing some great family meals. Enjoy the gas BBQ on the large wrap around deck and gather around the outdoor fire pit. Enjoy the plentiful local wildlife viewing. Easy check in and out. The cabin is professionally cleaned before your stay. Enjoy the fresh clean air of the Rocky Mountains and the sunny days with clear mountain views. Please note minimum stay of 2 nights required.

Columbine Lake is a private, covenant-controlled community. Renters are not allowed to use the clubhouse, gazebo, horse pasture, OHVs or Columbine Lake.

The cabin was just as advertised. It was clean and quite and close to everything we like to do. Watch out for the chipmunks, they really want to get inside the cabin.

Nice private spot. Could see the stars clearly and was always amazed to see mountains in any direction I looked. Also, so close to Rocky Mountain National Park. I would book this place again if I ever return to Grand Lake.

We so enjoyed our stay here. I loved the layout of the home with a spiral staircase to access the two top level bedrooms and a bathroom. The beds and pillows were comfortable as well as the living room furniture. It was cozy to sink into and play some games that were provided. The kitchen was well accommodated, and we enjoyed our time sitting on the deck, watching the woodpeckers and hummingbirds and chipmunks, etc. come and go. A nice quiet neighborhood. The access to town was super easy and we took numerous neighborhood walks. We enjoyed all that Grand Lake had to offer. We got so lucky with the weather. The only thing I have to say is in the upstairs bedroom with the three beds dark curtains to block out the morning light would be a good investment, but overall, I’d stay there again in a heartbeat.

The house is tight for 8 people to stay in but doable. If you are obese, do not sleep in the rooms upstairs... the spiral staircase is tight and likely will not fit your build. The property itself was great! Ample parking, lots of wildlife, great hiking and walking trails, wonderful firepit area... overall I would stay here again! The trash dump area was hard to find. It was in a smaller metal building and kind of looked like someone's actual property rather than the clubhouse.

Cozy with enough room for our family of 8. Tight squeeze to get luggage up the spiral staircase but definitely workable. Would definitely stay here again

The property was beautiful and amazing , The scenery absolutely gorgeous . We truly appreciate our stay ! Definitely would recommend any family to reserve this property! During our stay we drove nearby and saw a moose and her calf in pond . That was one of our many highlights.

Magical stay

Quiet neighborhood with 2 small lakes which means lots of wildlife viewing. The house was cozy and clean and deer and moose walked through the property while we were there.

Great Stay

You cannot beat this location! Super cool little cabin in the woods with a private lake. Host was wonderful and very relaxed. The check out list was very short and doable. Highly recommend!

This cabin was a great location. It's right outside of Grand Lake, which is a cute town with lots of shops, food, and a market for groceries. Definitely get your gas in Granby instead of Grand Lake though! The house is cute and cozy. The host had towels/dishes/bedding, etc. at the cabin. There are neighbors but it still felt remote. There's a yard that was good for my dog to frolic in and a fireplace to keep us warm. Absolutely would stay again! Thank you!
