Located on Point Pelee Drive, the bunker is ideal for a couple, or an individual looking for a short term stay in the Leamington Area.



It boasts comfort, and Lake Erie living.



The outdoor picnic table and bonfire pit ensures you and your guest never miss a beat of the Lake Erie View



The bunker is equipped with everything you need, including a queen size bed with sheets, a love seat with recliners, washer and dryer, gas oven and stove, microwave, and refrigerator/freezer. The bath includes a fully tiled shower that adds a perfect touch of home.

Short drive into town for all your shopping needs



*Please note: there is full house on the property, and that could be rented by a separate group. The driveway is the only amenity shared with the house.

Lovely place to stay. Cute and cozy! The proximity to The Pt. Pelee National Park was absolutely wonderful to come and go as we pleased. We patronized a lot of local businesses from farmer’s markets, restaurants, pizza places and delicious cafes that were all close by. A lovely area to spend time and feel relaxed and rejuvenated!

Great Stay at the Bunkie!

A great spot for rest and relaxation - so spotlessly clean and perfectly set up for our break away. Very clear communication provided by host re check-in and check out process. We felt very comfortable and were impressed with the a.c., ceiling fans, gas stove… lots of towels, nice t.v. The outdoors was equally nice with manicured grass, tables and chairs. Just lovely.

The bunky was great! Clean, comfortable and flexible heating/cooling, Beatiful view of the lake. Nice to have a full kitchen even though it was a cottage for two. Bathroom was very nice with good towels. Will definitely come again!

Relaxing and Peaceful

This was a second stay at Bunker by the Bay. A small, but cozy little place big enough for two! If looking to spend time at Point Pelee National Park, it's just down the road a bit and a park pass is available to use. The town is also a short drive away.

This is a very small, cozy, clean, and well stocked place to stay. Because everything was well stocked and clean I didn't need to contact the owner, but she checked in to make sure all was well which was a nice touch. The views were great and the accommodations were very comfortable. We had a great stay. Great host!

Great location - half way between Point Pelee National Park and the Leamington ferry that goes to Point Pelee Island. Very clean, tidy and functional space.Beautiful sunsets and very responsive and host.

A truly wonderful, comfortable and convenient place to stay during our visit to the area.

A magnificent location ... wonderful view of the lake with easy access to Point Pelee National Park and the wine route. The many items that were provided with the Bunker by the Bay made it much easier to plan, pack and travel. Definitely worth a return visit in the future :)

Great great place! No complaints at all. Comfy bed, nice kitchen ware, clean bathroom, great AC. Right down road from Point Pelee. Got to sit on main dock as no other guests were there. Recommending to all my friends for couples getaway!!

I was in the area for a quick trip to the national park. The price and proximity sold me! The bunker was small (as advertised) but met all my needs and was very clean.The Keurig pods and park pass were great touches and nothing compares to the sunsets! Would definitely book again. Thank you!

That lead to the first rental, Sunsets by the Bay. After a year of meeting some wonderful people, I purchased my second property. I continue to grow my portfolio by managing others lakefront properties. I love hearing what brings guests into Leamington, and helping them to choose some adventures while they're in town. Cute and comfortable are the words that come to mind when I think of the Bunker. It's the perfect step up for an individual or couple that prefer to avoid a hotel stay. It's close enough to the lake that you catch the most perfect sunset, and still have privacy from the house on the property.
