a view you have to see to believe!
I cannot overstate how incredible this home is. Starting with the view from the top deck, you get full panoramic views that you have to see to believe - the pictures really don’t do it justice! My friends and I spent every moment we could out there - from sipping our morning coffee, to enjoying an afternoon adult beverage while soaking up the sun and enjoying the fresh mountain air, to winding down with a cigar at sunset while watching the downtown gatlinburg lights come to life. Not to mention the inside was immaculate! Clean, organized, and spacious, we didn’t mind spending the one rainy day inside. The poker, pool, and air hockey tables were a great touch to keep us occupied when we couldn’t go outside. The house is also as close as you can get to downtown Gatlinburg, only about 7-10 minutes depending on traffic. Ubers are tough to come by so the proximity made it alot easier to get around. All around an amazing place and trip, would come back again!

Beautiful house and views
We absolutely loved this house for a large group (8 kids, 6 adults). Lots of room and sleeping options particularly for the kids, lots of places for groups to gather together, amazing hot tub views of the mountains. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and dishes, and the house was clean and well cared for. The host was very easy to work with. Close to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. It was fun looking UP to see our house from Anakeesta! The gorgeous views do come with a slight cost: bring very confident drivers with you, because the last five minutes of the drive up the mountain is nerve-wracking on a single lane road without barriers.

You be the judge...
Owner is very particular about her property, which I understand. There are cameras on the property that are watched regularly not "as needed" so there is a lack of privacy to some extent. We were pressured to pay an additional $563.00 during our stay for an event fee she said we classified as, for bringing outside chairs on the deck to have a simple private ceremony that literally only included immediate guests that were approved and staying at the house. and the chairs were removed the same day. No vendors no music and dancing, no extra clean up needed. She called, texted and emailed demanding payment or we would be kicked out. While trying to explain our position she even said she was good with holiday activities like Thanksgiving dinner etc are ok but not what we did. Not understanding the difference since our activity did not involve anyone outside the approved guest. The place was very beautiful and well kept. Great location near a lot of places which was nice.

Wonderful trip, great memories
Took all the kids and their plus ones, and my parents and mother in-law, first time doing a group trip like this, and well let’s say, IT WAS THE BEST, trip was the week of thanksgiving and everything was wonderful, we even did our own turkey out on the grille, only disappointment was I never got to see any bears, maybe next time, our 5th time staying in Gatlinburg, all in cabins and this one was the best one yet, thank you for that, hopefully we will be back again

Fun weekend in Gatlinburg
We couldn’t have asked for a better place to have our gathering. Plenty to do, and plenty of space to have fun.

.My husband and I purchased our cabin in 2007 after renting it a couple of times ourselves. The view was breathtaking which led us to our vision of building our dream vacation home. We demolished the entire home except the foundation and begin the design. We currently reside in New Haven, Mo. however after 39 years of marriage, my husband grew to love the Smoky Mountains. The name Four Bears Hideaway is named after our four children. (Pictured above). In 2016 our cabin was one of the 1700 structures that was destroyed in the wild fires, Our hearts were broken, but the memories we shared in family holidays, weddings and reunions will forever be cherished. I lost my husband suddenly in December 2018 before he could see the new cabin completed. However each room and vision he had will forever be displayed in his memory. Our cabin is family owned and operated. Our goal is to share our home, so you can have as many memories as we have had throughout the years. And share the beauty of the mountains.

Why they chose this property

I lived in Tennessee my whole life until moving to Missouri. I can honestly say I've stayed in many areas and visited many places and by far this is the best view around. There are no words to express the view of this property. We have been told by many vendors, guests and neighbors that are view is worth a million dollars. Our cabin is located far enough away to enjoy the peace of the smoky's and yet close enough to all the attractions.

What makes this property unique

Two extra large decks for enjoying the views. The bottom deck is waterproof so you can still enjoy being outdoors regardless of weather conditions. We also have another deck with a large 8-person hot tub overlooking downtown Gatlinburg and the Smoky Mountains.
We have a game room and a card room to entertain the children along with a lot of other entertainment as well. We have 7 grandchildren ourselves, so we chose everything to accommodate all age groups. Each room inside the cabin has a view of the mountain scenery.
