Secluded Home - Views of Mississippi River remote location 15 min from La Crosse

Former bar (Top of the Rock) was recently remodeled and converted into a vacation home. Open floor plan still has elements of the bar (pool table, dartboard, high top tables with bar stools) along with cozy feel of a home. Brand new kitchen, great room with 65” flatscreen TV, modern bathrooms upstairs and down. Lower level has three bedrooms which can sleep up to 8 people.

Beautiful panoramic views of the Mississippi River valley from the deck and inside the home. Since we are near the river, you will hear trains which will occasionally pass by.

Really enjoyed our stay! Great parking for our bass boats. Close to a good ramp. Beautiful view of the Mississippi. Great amenities within the house (pool table, dart board, foosball, big screen tv's). Will definitely be back!

We so enjoyed the views, weather, and deck. We spent a majority of the time sitting out on the deck visiting (although we did sneak in a few games of pool which was a riot!). We loved seeing the barges, trains, and wildlife. The kitchen had everything you could need and more! We slept great on the comfy beds. It was a lovely stay - we hope to be back!

The house was fantastic. The views were amazing. Everything was as listed in the write-up. The house was well stocked and had everything we needed. Our boys really enjoyed playing pool and darts. Such a fun house to stay at and close enough to UW-LaCrosse for football Saturday. We loved it and will definitely be back for more football games. Thank you.

They have everything!

Extremely clean place that was stocked with kitchen supplies so we could cook and grill and eat like kings all while enjoying the amazing sunrise evey morning. Great stay!

Nice place . Clean property with fun amenities such as pool table, foosball, darts, multiple TVs. Close access to the mississippi and only 20 minutes from La Crosse.

Peaceful days by the river

Property was wonder! Very spacious. Loved watching the barges quietly going by day and night. Would be a great spot for a holiday family gathering.

We had a great stay! We had a group of 6 stay at the property, and the house was perfect for us. Great views of the river, plenty of things to keep us entertained (pool table, dart board, foosball table), and plenty of room. Communications, access, and instructions were clear, simple, and easy to follow. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone staying in the area.

Beautiful view, beautiful rental

This place is awesome! The beds are very comfortable with almost new pillows. The view is beautiful and there is ample room to spread out. The kitchen has everything you need and the games and speaker system give you so many things to do! Highly recommend if you can find a time to visit.

Great views & fun atmosphere

Great views of the river and surrounding bluffs. We stayed here for a graduation weekend and everyone enjoyed the pool table, foosball and darts. The large open area is a great hangout spot for a larger group. The deck space is also very nice. We had a couple of minor issues/questions on check in, but Chris was very quick to respond. Overall we had a nice stay at the property.

Amazing property!

I rented the property to be a comfortable stay while we were celebrating a family weekend. With my 7 year old daughter and babysitter along for the ride, the home was perfect for them to be entertained when we didn’t have wedding festivities. We will definitely be booking for a future stay and bring more guests with us to fully enjoy the property and all the amenities. The property was super clean and had everything you could think of. Chris was super accommodating and kind!

Beautiful Home

The home was beautiful, and a great way to spend some family time. There is a train that passes across the road, so if the windows are open you will hear it. We didn't hear it at all with the windows closed. The deck is beautiful and a great way to enjoy the view and some sun. We hope to return and make this a regular gathering for our family! Exceeded expectations!

Beautiful, spotless home with gorgeous views of the river. Such a fun layout with game room and living area flooded with natural light from wrap around windows. This place is one of those gems that is far better than the photos, which were great! Morning coffee on the rooftop deck watching bunnies frolic in the wildflowers near the waterfront. The host was quick to answer our questions before arrival and everything was perfect from check in to departure. Highly recommend!

Beautiful view

My girlfriends and I had a wonderful long weekend. Plenty of beds, well stocked kitchen, and lots of room to relax on the deck or play inside. The deck gets a lot of sun, so it would have been nice to have a patio umbrella. Very small town. So if you plan to go out, there are only a few options, they only take cash, and be sure to check their hours. The tiki bar closed at 7pm on Sunday. Overall, a great place to stay

Our group absolutely loved this home! It was very clean, well stocked with anything we could need and convenient yet secluded from the large city of LaCrosse. The views cannot be beat. We even met some of the neighbors which were lovely. If you need an Uber - don't rely on one - we weren't able to get one. But we did get DoorDash very quickly! The owner was very quick to respond to any questions I had. I have two suggestions (should not steer anyone away from this home) - mirrors in the bedrooms (we were a group of four women and would help free up the bathrooms) and one more recliner in the living room. We hope to be back!!! Thank you!

It was nicely decorated and clean, with comfortable beds and furniture and a beautiful kitchen with newer dishes and pans, and beautiful bathrooms. But the best part was the view! We really enjoyed sitting on the deck for coffee and meals and games. And the views from indoors are just as good.
