Enjoy a fully furnished home overlooking the mighty Mississippi River from the bluffs of Brownsville, MN. Just a skip and a hop from Lawrence Lake Marina for fishing and entertainment, nearby hiking or plan you next hunting trip, if that's more your speed. Either way, your nature getaway awaits!

This ALL SEASONS rental is located with in a mile of two public boat landings and fishing dock, only15 minutes from downtown La Crosse, WI and 15 minutes from the Iowa border. Houston County area is rich in wonderful trout streams for fly fishing enthusiasts, ice fishing at Lawrence Lake (2 minutes), snowmobile trails, home of the white tail deer and wild turkey, bird watching, hiking, biking trails, and so much more.

After a full day of exploring the area, you will have an opportunity to make some lifelong lasting memories with your family and friends. Enjoy the screened in porch, stargazing, a fire pit, or plethora of family oriented puzzles and games.

Great location for peace and quiet, while close to LaCrosse. Loved sitting out on the screened in porch in the morning and evening with incredible views of the river. Brownsville had a great pizza restaurant we really liked!

Lovely home. Comfy beds. Very clean. Good communication. I missed that the second bathroom is on the lowest level which does not have a bedroom. The amazing screened-in porch and beautiful starry night view on the deck more than made up for it but just be aware if you have anyone in your group with problems using stairs and plan accordingly! It was a fantastic stay.

Love this place! A cozy rustic cabin with so many amenities from gas grill, fire pit, dart board, screened in porch, board games, plenty of towels and a fully stocked kitchen. We stayed with our adult children and played lots of games, inside and outside. The screened in porch was probably our favorite spot! Communication with the host was excellent!!

I searched around the LaCrosse area for a nice place to stay for a convention we had in town and this place had wonderful reviews. This property is everything we could have hoped for and more. Absolutely the cutest house with beautiful views of the river. We hung out on the front porch each morning just taking it all in while enjoying our coffee. The house was very clean with a kitchen that had everything you needed. My mom has some knee problems and it was so easy for her to get into the house with ease and the bedrooms on the main floor made it so easy. Our host was extremely kind and very responsive. I couldn’t say enough great things about our trip. Thank you for everything and helping us create such fond family memories.

Beautiful property with a beautiful view. The hosts provided lots of games, both indoor and outdoor, and comfortable amenities. Has a cabin in the woods feel but still a very easy quick drive to La Crescent and La Crosse.
