Start your day with a nice cup of coffe on the second story balcony patio..and after that fun day of enjoying this truly great area, sit and watch the sunset on that same patio. Inside the apartment some of the things you will first will notice is the workmanship; split brick kitchen walls and counters, marble bathroom counter and tiled shower ceiling with the rainfall shower head. There is a large couch with a chase lounger..great for kicking back and watching a show. We have a Roku TV good for your Netflix account. Direct Tv. Fast internet. Full kitchen with everything you need. Blackout curtains in the bedroom to keep the room dark for a good nights sleep. Queen size bed that is very comfortable(for real). I like a bed that is not too high off the ground where you can just ease into. There is a 8 inch memory foam mattress bed in the rooms oversized closet(almost the size of a small room) than can be used for the extra guest...Kids love it, they feel like they have their own little spot. Nice bathroom with a spacious shower that has a bench. More than adequate water pressure. The Loft has lots of insulation and a great air conditioner to cool down the place. (New A/C installed October 2022. New water heater installed June 2022). The bedroom has a large closet with a full length mirror(we get lots of people attending weddings and this comes in handy). Flat screen TV mounted on the wall in the bedroom. We keep the place sparkling clean for our guests. You are separated from the main house. The loft has its own private staircase. The patio is set up in a way that you that is partially enclosed for the privacy. You will be the only ones staying in this building..there is no one staying below. I love beach season. From the bedroom window, there is a good chance to see deer around dusk...the deer like to take a route from the field across the street, through our property, and out through a gap in the fence on the back part of the property.

Listing picture disclosure: Hurricane Sally tore the roof off of the hay barn next to the loft. The barn does not appear the same as it does in the pictures.

Michael set the tone right from the start with very warm and welcoming communications. The Loft exceeded my expectations. From fresh ground coffee to greet me upon arrival to beautiful sunsets every evening from the porch, my stay was incredibly comfortable and quickly felt like home. A little piece of paradise

Even when it rains here, it’s relaxing. Michael and Nicole are wonderful hosts and their property is ideal for those just wanting some peace and quiet, but is also a wonderful base from which to explore the quaintness of Fairhope, the outlet malls of Foley, or the beaches of Gulf Shores. It’s also within easy reach of Mobile and Pensacola. This is the second time we’ve stayed here in six months and we’d love to come back.

We had a great time! Excellent communication when needed with the hosts. They were very welcoming and at the same time not all up in your space. Made us feel right at home! So much thought and care went into what was provided in the place, even little things like a pair of scissors, extra wash cloths, paper towels, blankets hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, etc. There wasn’t anything we had to go to the store to purchase to make our stay great. Highly recommended!

Great Stay, Great Location!

Countryside Loft was perfect for our needs. We looked for an affordable place that was close to family near Fairhope and found it with this property. The bed was comfortable, as was the other furniture. The location was exceptionally quiet, and we could even see the Milky Way from the yard. Michael was attentive and responsive, making sure the property was up to expectations, and we had everything that we needed. We'll definitely stay again on future trips.

This apartment was perfect for our family vacation (two adults and one child). It is a beautiful property that allows for rest and relaxation while being only a short drive from almost anything you could want to do. Michael was a great host and has a very organized and streamlined checkin process. He has a property binder that gives great recommendations for beautiful beaches and excellent restaurants. The city of Fairhope is absolutely beautiful and the residents are very friendly. We had a great time and can't wait to come back!

We like it down here…

We’ve been staying in the area for 15 years, have tried hotels and condos, but this was by far the best property and location. It is so peaceful, yet minutes from Fairhope. The Loft is spacious and very comfortable. Communication with Michael was excellent, he was very attentive but not intrusive. We suggested adding a cool box and kettle and they were delivered the following morning. Can’t wait to come back.

I absolutely love this place. It’s out in a beautiful quiet area that is about 15 min from town. The owner communicates well and gives explicit instructions. It’s like an apartment at the top of an A frame building. Every detail has been added for a comfortable stay. There are stairs that might be difficult for a mobility impaired person. The bed is comfortable and the living area welcoming. Perfect get away.

Great Find

We were coming to Orange Beach to visit our son's family, who just started a new business there. We didn't really want to be in the busy beach area so when we found this location it was just perfect. We had never been to the Fairhope area and we loved it. This location was close enough to drive into the town of Fairhope and also not too far from the beach area. Our hosts were absolutely the best. They communicated with us all throughout our stay. The loft was so very nice with lots of little amenities that were well thought out by the owners and above and beyond what we have experienced in the past. They made you feel right at home. I would highly recommend this property and would definitely stay there again in the future.

The host Michael was amazing, we had everything we needed to have a comfortable stay! He knew it was my bday the day I drove up and my husband couldn’t make it until the next day so him and his wife left me a bday balloon in the loft and left ice cream in the freezer and made the cutest little sand bottle charm! I hope we can make it back up to Fairhope, cause that’s where I plan to stay! Absolutely amazing 3 days.. he also left great recommendations of the area.

I love to host. Its real fun to try and provide a memorable guest experience. My wife Nichole has lived in Fairhope all her life. The road we live on was named after her grandfather. I have lived in Fairhope since the early 80's . It is such a great place to live with southern hospitality everywhere. We have two young kids that we love to spend time with.

I am an experienced VRBO host..who loves what I am doing. Its fun trying to provide the best customer experience possible.

My two goals:To provide an 5 star experience for our guests..I want our guests to feel like they are staying at a professional run establishment. The second is to learn and constantly evolve to provide a better guest experience.

We know the area real well. Anything from beaches, shopping, restaurants, hiking, boating, fishing, site seeing, etc., we can provide recommendations.

During your stay, if you need anything or have any questions, please never feel like you are bothering me. I have done close to 500 short term rental stays and I cannot think of one experience where I felt bothered by a guest...I am pretty much always happy to help.

Why they chose this property

People that use the daily rental sites like this one expect more; more bang for their buck, a unique setting, more amenities, larger space, expectation of a cleaner place. We have done it with the loft. What drives us is to be better than the other daily rentals out there.

What makes this property unique

Fairhope has been voted in the top ten small towns so many times and Gulf Shores/Orange Beach has been voted in the best top 10 beaches. Our slogan for the Loft is "Meet me in the Middle" We have the best of both worlds being located almost in the middle of both. You would be staying only 38minutes from the beaches and only 15 minutes from the great dinning and shopping of downtown Fairhope. Good TV to me is important while on vacation. After a long day of having fun, nothing is better than a evening movie. The Loft has a Roku TC and Wi-Fi for your Netflix or Amazon account . Very comfy chase lounger couch.
